  1. https://www.bleachernation.com/bears/2021/11/02/is-the-washington-football-team-trying-to-swing-a-trade-for-mitchell-trubisky/ https://heavy.com/sports/buffalo-bills/mitchell-trubisky-trade/ Just plopping these here. Don't know how reliable either of these are, but rumor has it Trubisky is a hot commodity right now.
  2. I have a theory with the front four on D. It seems to me, they are always playing strait up beat your man. Do they ever run stunts, where a Dlineman runs around another DLineman to reach a gap and pressure the QB? Usually I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see if someone makes it to the QB, but a little trickery on the DLine can really pay dividends. Meatball used to do it, but not sure if these young guys are?
  3. Cole Beasley had 10 catches out of 13 for 110yds. Some of those were a quick pass to him behind the line of scrimmage as soon as the ball is hiked. It looked like it worked more times than not.
  4. It seems to me, the AFC east is starting to get better as a whole. Miami fought hard. New England is increasingly getting better and the Jets have now surprised two very good teams. The Bills are now the hunted, and they better find a way to be more consistent. They are clearly have the talent but man are they up and down a lot.
  5. Yes, that makes sense. Tua has been doing pretty well with the quick timing routes. They need speed to disrupt those. Do that and he is pretty likely to throw a pick.
  6. He played a little in Houston 7 targets and 3 catches. Not much to go on, but given he was picked 10 spots before Knox, might develop into a good TE.
  7. Greg Cosell Previews Bills-Dolphins He says Miami has been gradually working in more zone coverages and expects there to be a lot more zone against the Bills. Pretty good video. Also says Miami is embracing timing routes. A lot of 3 step, 5 step drops and get rid of the ball quickly to eliminate sacks and pressures. They are scheming, but does anyone really think they have any hope?
  8. Just another poster in this forum. That's why I said rumor.
  9. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They'll attempt to make Josh think by leaving two deep safeties out there like everyone else is doing. Josh is still going to carve them up. It's rumored that Doyle will play RT. Curious if there is any truth to that. https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article255259711.html https://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/fl-sp-dolphins-main-thurs-20211028-oyfekkiz55ak7om6rxndkkhqgq-story.html I think they are going to emphasize pass rush more than anything though. Thing is, they know they have a problem and will be trying something different. They are getting smoked by the passing game.
  10. We haven't seen much of Doyle. That would be interesting indeed.
  11. Miami is planning to change the way they cover receivers for this game. I am assuming they intend to run more zone to duplicate what some other teams are doing to slow Josh down.
  12. Bengals, Browns, Squeelers, an Ravens are going to beat the crap out of each other by the end of the season. No telling who comes out on top. Injuries have effected all of these teams. Similar situation in KC's division. KC is in trouble and the other teams in that division smell blood. We are fortunate to be in the division we are in. We will cruise to the playoffs and all of these other teams will be in a dog fight. Not ruling out NE making it in either. They are clearly better than Miami and the Jets even if they did drop their first game to Miami.
  13. The Bills come out hot. Scoring on the opening drive and never punt throughout the entire game. Miami gets a little bit going on offense and manages to score a couple times, but it's still a blowout. Buffalo dominates. Bills 48 TuaFish 13
  14. Can't imagine any conceivable possibility where the Bills lose this game. I got nothin'. Fully expecting a blowout win and a beating the Vegas spread.
  15. 1. Need to coach up that OL, because the defense is literally daring them to run. Need better blocking schemes. 2. Need to occasionally ditch those RPOs in favor of a strait up drop back pass. Not too much, because defenses will begin to blitz. 3. When the D is confused and doesn't know what is coming at them next return to the RPO. I think the offense just needs some minor adjustments and will figure it out as the season progresses.
  16. You are what your record says you are.
  17. I think Allen still needs to work on some stuff. Pushing the ball downfield into tight coverage so often is not a recipe for success. How many times have we seen this when he has a wide open receiver up close who can at least get an easy 1st down. You need to take those plays. It also keeps those safeties guessing. Allen has struggled with defenses that keep two deep safeties out there. All he needs to do is take a few of those short passes and make one of those safeties creep up and guess whether it'll be a short or long pass. Pretty basic stuff, but he is forcing the ball downfield too much. And it has cost us a win. The good news is I think he knows it too. I'm thinking that he is very much on the verge of really lighting things up. He just needs to be a little more patient. Mahomes is finding out that he doesn't have as much support around him and that he is mortal. He's still a great QB, but now he has to figure out how to do more with less. Going to be interesting to see how he responds throughout the season.
  18. Wow, the arrogance of going for it there. Good for the Cincy D.
  19. Man, that KC defense is awful.
  20. Watching the countdown to kick off. Did an interview of Tannehill. Never knew he used to be a receiver.
  21. Diggs! Haha!
  22. So much for momentum, Browns...
  23. Wow. An 18yd punt. I can beat that.
  24. This is delicious watching WTF give KC a run for the money.
  25. Ravens D making that vaunted Charger O look pedestrian.
