I do. The only time the run game has stalled all season is when Cook wasn't on the field. And the way the OLine is blocking is just plain dominating. The Chiefs are going to have their hands full. And not just OLinemen. It's fullback and TE. The days of weak TE blocking are over and Gilliam is on fire. The Bills run game is legitimately top 2 in the NFL. Maybe the Colts are comparable and even that's debatable. It looks like Brady found something with the way Cook is being utilized that is working too. Cook is lining up way behind Allen, giving him a good view of everyone in front of him. Those pitches from Allen to Cook are giving Cook the chance to be full speed by the time he hits the LOS. And the defense trying to stop him is just lost because they want to rally to the ball but by the time they realize what's happening Cook is all ready by them. I think there has been a bit of issue trying to work the pass more into the game. Josh is not a dink and dunk QB, but that is normally what an offense does to compliment a great run game. I honestly think that the pass game is going to improve once they begin to figure out what works. Some good things are all ready happening. Shakir and Kincaid are examples but the complaints about no deep threat are legit. Someone with speed needs to be a threat even if they don't actually catch the ball. I still think schematically, there is a way to utilize the strengths of the receivers we have. It's just not being done consistently...yet.

The only one eliminating the running game is Brady. And I think he learned his lesson on that.

Cook had over 140 yards before he was even touched against what was supposed to be one of the NFLs best run defenses last week. The OLine is really dominating. The blocking has been spectacular. The Bills are going to keep on running. I'm also pretty sure Allen is going to be dialed in for KC. I would be very surprised if the Bills have anything less than 30pts in this game. Add in all of the recent reinforcements to the defense, the Bills could very well dominate this game. If the pass rush looks anything like last week against a shaky KC OLine, I see a frustrated Mahomes trying to do too much and making mistakes. A lot of people are quick to point out all of the flaws with our team. Very few even bother to look at the opposing team's flaws. Believe it or not, but KC has them too. A lot of them.
-
You worry too much. Went completely crosses eyed trying to read that.
-
True, but what many are suggesting is that we play the same boring, contain the QB defense, that we've played repeatedly with poor results. The difference between KC and Buffalo is an ability to adapt and change. Buffalo has a real problem with this. I'm thinking that all of these recent additions to our defense is going to be a serious problem for KC. Our defense has been transformed and the coach needs to cut them loose. KC won't know what hit them. Wouldn't exactly call it a heater. More like, ok, they're not dead yet...lol.

Why is everyone ignoring the remaining schedule of KC and Buffalo. Neither of these teams can afford to lose this game. There are likely more losses coming. The sense of urgency needs a serious shot in the arm now. Not later. With the way KC is playing right now, the Bills need to smell the blood in the water and attack. Mahomes has struggled all season. Get after him and force him to make mistakes. Let me know when you've watched the seven sack performance from the last game. You're sleep walking through this season.

The Eagles didn't have any trouble harassing Mahomes. They are weak this year. You play them the way are, trash.
-
No. Put Mahomes on his back early and often. You want to win, right?
-
The loser will have a hard time even making it to the playoffs.
-
Bad idea. Beat the living snot out of them now. Do that, and they are likely done. Don't even make the playoffs. They have some tough sledding to even make the playoffs now.
-
Just beat these bums and move on. Don't even bother looking in the rear view mirror after.

I've been wondering if Josh handing the ball off so much is negatively effecting his pass game. He often starts slow and gets better as the game goes on. Maybe the repetition is what gets him going and he's not getting that while handing the ball off. I know that seems a weak excuse, but as an athlete I too hated coming in cold, and needed to get the blood flowing. -
Some observations and questions regarding the Bills passing game.

I'm cautiously optimistic about next weeks game. A lot of good things came out of this game.... -

That's the name I couldn't remember. Zack Moss saw some success when the OLine changed to a different blocking scheme. -

Maybe trying to emulate how Cook sets up his blockers. He's got to be his own man though. It's not like he hasn't seen success before. I don't know either. There is a feeling that he's better than he's showing. Maybe too, the Oline is not blocking well for his style of run game. Cook seems to setup his blockers so well, finds his hole and accelerates through it. I think some blocking schemes open holes slowly, some quickly. Maybe he's not seeing the hole the Cook does it. Lot of moving parts and it could be a lot of things. -

I think it's a trust issue. Some of these are WRs 2nd and 3rd string. They need reps to build trust from Josh. Historically, Josh isn't afraid to throw to tight windows but he is trying to eliminate bad mistakes which again could be he simply hasn't built up enough trust. That usually comes from more reps but these guys are secondary players. Maybe we begin to see an improvement. Coleman though, he's been getting the reps. You'd think he would be getting the ball more. I think Poyer is a steadying piece, a coach on the field. Perhaps he can pass some wisdom on to the youngsters. Hancock is just naturally gifted and will only get better. -

If that is true, they are blocking for all the running going on. Maybe the pass game isn't as much of a tire fire as everyone is thinking and that was the game plan all along? Apparently, Kincaid had half as many snaps as the rookie. Hmm... -

141 before contact...wow. The OLine is getting it done. -
This is what could turn things around for the defense. The reinforcements on the DLine could make an all ready good front four very dominant. And that will cover up many weaknesses on the back end.
-
Not a single defense we've played thus far have done that. What makes you think the Falcons will.
-
No, no, no. You have say it 3 times, turn around 180 degrees counter clockwise then touch your nose....or it doesn't work.
-
I'm sure with the way NE likes to cough up the ball, there'll be a couple of stinkers in there.
-
You sure about that? The Jets moved the ball pretty easy against them.
-
Remember when everyone was very concerned about the Jets when they basically dominated the weekend before against the Steelers only to have Rogers take over the game late? Or how everyone was nervous before the Miami game. Now everyone is so sure NE is way better than those teams. Who really thinks running up the score on the Panthers is a clear indication that they've suddenly become a powerhouse? NE has a problem with coughing up the ball and Maye can't put the offense on his back and carry them the way Josh can. Their pass defense is weak and their rush defense is suspect. They haven't shown that they can successfully run the ball and their coach is a meathead. Really.... Bills by 20
