  1. Personally, I could care less who wins or loses this game. I would prefer that the Bills beat whoever makes it to the AFCCG convincingly and begin a new dynasty. Then maybe we all could stop acting like we've got PTSD.
  2. I think a lot of fans want to see the passing game improve and I think it will. Perhaps this weekend we see a game plan that gets the receivers more involved. It does blow my mind that for the 1st time in Josh's career, he never pushed the ball over 10yds downfield on Thursday. That isn't by mistake. It was clearly part of the game plan. They really want one of those safeties to creep closer. It's been a pleasant surprise to see these quick timing passes succeed, because Josh was terrible at them early in his career. I don't think the big chunk plays are gone, I just think they are taking what the defense is giving them. There will be a time when the pass game opens up, but with Cook running so well there just hasn't been a good reason to push the ball down field. The drives are time consuming and the opposing team's defense is on the field longer. This is a winning brand of football, if you can do it. And right now the Bills are doing it. Eventually, a team is going to commit to stopping the run. When that happens, we'll see the passing game open up. It's just a matter of time.
  3. The defense laid an egg in the 1st 3 quarters of the 1st game. Since though, a lot of good things have happened. The defense is showing signs of life even while losing Milano and Oliver. That first game was shockingly bad and I can understand how many think the defense as a whole won't be better than last year. I think it will be though. They just have to grow together. We've seen some great individual plays but this is clearly a team defense that hasn't yet put it all together. These guys are going to get better. It's just a matter of time.
  4. Ravens still looking pretty dominant.
  5. Carolina pitching a shutout. Is Atlanta that bad?
  6. Flacco couldn't escape a wet paper bag.
  7. Bengals are getting curb stomped
  8. oof. Tyrod threw a pick 6.
  9. And then Maye throws the pick in the EZ.
  10. Colts are going to be 3-0. Rams are playing with juice. Going to be some surprising teams in the playoffs this year.
  11. We have a mini bye coming up and then another in a few weeks. Perhaps everything works out for the stretch after that. So far, nothing looks long term.
  12. You pretty much nailed it. Bollox 🤣
  13. Is the dysfunction in Miami, because it's the 1st couple of weeks of the season? I think that's a small part of it. I think they let some talent go and back filled with lesser talent. I think their OLine is a mess. I think they need to adjust to how defenses are playing them. Every defense is disrupting their quick timed passing game. They don't know who they are defensively. They are struggling to get in a rhythm offensively. And perhaps the worst thing for them is a lack of leadership. I just don't foresee a way for them to put up much of a fight. It's not often that I am confident in a Bills win, but this is one of them. Miami may come out playing like their hair is on fire. I just don't think it will matter. Bills win. Probably by a lot.
  14. The fish are going to get spanked.
  15. You know Miami has 3 injured starters on thier Oline, right? Don't see how they are going to field a competent offense.
  16. I'd like to see how many of those are interceptions. I think the Bills have a defensive scheme designed to confuse QBs and the end result is more interceptions. I've also noticed the Bills defenders are throwing a lot of peanut punches. Instead of trying to rip the ball away, they're being taught to throw a punch at the ball. Very effective.
  17. Wow. Our Dline is going to feast on sacks. Miami is going to have to depend on the running game and Tua is going to need to get rid of the ball fast. It's funny how everyone thought the Jets were going to give us a game, but no one is saying that about this Dolphins game. If it wasn't for all the injuries to their Oline, I'd think they put up a good fight. I don't think they have the horses, though. Tua is good at getting the ball out fast, but Buffalo's defense and many other teams have found ways to disrupt those quick timing routes. It puts pressure on Tua and forces him to hold the ball longer than he wants to. All I can see is sacks. Lots of them. Unless their "wizard" coach finds something to exploit in our defense. I suppose it could happen....nah, not buying it.
  18. I think the Ravens game skewed a lot of people to lean this way. The defense was actually largely responsible for the last win though and I think they only get better as the season progresses. A lot of people will be coming off of injuries and suspensions. By the end of the season we may very well have one of the best defenses in the league.
  19. We all ready had that game in week one. And we still won.
  20. I see the Bills just getting tougher as the season goes on. This could be the year that we're not snake bit by injuries. Philadelphia could equally be resting starters for that game. And I'm not so certain Buffalo will be far enough ahead of the Ravens to rest starters with 2 games to go before the season ends. It's a long season. A lot can happen. It does feels like this could be the year for Buffalo. Just keep stacking wins, one game at a time. At the end of the regular season, it won't even matter.... if no one can catch us.
  21. haha. KC drives all the way to the 5yd line only turn the ball over.
  22. Meanwhile the Ravens likely coast into the playoffs
  23. I'm watching KC and thinking Denver and Oakland might give them problems. That division looks like it's gotten better while KC looks less impressive by the game.
  24. Where's that high powered offense I keep hearing about from Philly?
