I was having a conversation with someone Sunday about this. I argued that this is the time for Allen to try those throws. See what he can do at this level against this competition. Can you imagine when they miss the playoffs? If Brady retires their starter is Brian Hoyer. I still cant believe they traded Jimmy G and Brissett within 6 weeks of each other For Philip Dorsett and a second round pick (which they traded for a few 4th and 6th rounders a second next year)

Bobby April was a good ST coach because they let him have every backup position player be a special teamer. I hated when he was here. Sure Roscoe had a few nice returns, but we so often had to IR starters because all of our backups were Bobby April guys and couldnt play defense. It kept us in 6-10 territory for years
