  1. No way to prove what it was. Any discipline wouldn't hold up
  2. What’s so wild about Hackett is he got an OC job so soon after one of the worst HC tenures ever. He had to hire somebody to help with clock management after 2 games. We rip on McDermott, but that’s a level of incompetence that’s almost impressive
  3. How hard is it to count to 50?
  4. He'd look great on our injury report
  5. This is why I always get annoyed when people are like “football players aren’t tough anymore! They used to really hit!” yeah and they all die young or can’t walk for the rest of their life. It’s a game, I’d rather be entertained and know everyone is ok when they decide to hang it up
  6. If you go back to the thread of us drafting him, the first response is me saying "F**********" One of my prouder moments
  7. Hardly unthinkable once you include those teams
  8. I've been a STH for over 15 years (on and off) and I had to say no, mostly due to the PSL. It sucks, I love being a STH and getting to know all the people around you, but with all the other things in life (kids, daycare, home ownership) I had to cut something. Maybe in a few years, I'll join the party but right now, I had to bow out and I hate it I'll be at every game this year, I'm taking it all in. But when the season kicks off in 2026, I'll be at home
  9. In a vacuum, this is a fine move. Rodgers can still play and he makes their QB room better. But if there is ever a team that needs a losing season (or an aggressive move on draft day) its the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are stuck in high functioning mediocrity and will never get out of it as long as they go just over 500 ever year and get bounced in the 1st round of the playoffs
  10. The Mason Rudolph era ends
  11. The Bills had a hotline where you could report about things at the stadium that needed attention (fans, sewage in concourse etc) I texted the hotline that day that Dick Juaron was ruining my experience. Two weeks later he was fired
  12. Nobody cares about an elite player like Cook missing a practice in June. I'll be concerned in late August. Until then, this is just how the NFL is sometimes
  13. I can promise you, not one of these professional athletes or the FO people who deal with professional athletes give a damn if cook is there or not. It only matters in September
  14. Oh please. Players get cut one year into a 3 year contract all the time. I want Cook to be here, but I'm not going to vilify a guy for trying to get more money.
  15. Darby was a guy I always hoped would make it back to Buffalo somehow. Good player, but his trade helped the Bills turnaround from bottom feeder to contender
  16. Dallas is a good version of the Bills drought years. Never good enough to compete, never bad enough to bottom out. That said, they are predictable and boring as a franchise. QB contract coming up? Wait until the most drama has been extracted and give him a stupid contract. Zeke holding out? Make sure to draw it out and pay him anyway. You know Dallas is going to win 7-10 games. They will win a few big games and promptly suck in other games. The most mediocre franchise in the NFL
  17. Last year was their best shot
  18. *Bets the eagles under win total*
  19. I do. If the Browns cut him Id drive him to Buffalo myself
  20. No way does a 3rd pick QB make it through waivers. They would put Flacco on the PS for a few weeks even if he was starting. Then make a move late to keep him on the roster
  21. Yeah that really killed us last year
  22. When I was in college, I was selected to come out onto the field at halftime to catch punts. I, while quite drunk, thought this was an excellent idea and was very confident walking down to the field. When I got to the field, the Pitt QB scored a TD right in front of me. He was huge and I suddenly felt like the smallest dude, freaked out and proceeded to drop every single punt in front of the entire stadium.
  23. Picket had his issues in Pittsburgh, but for an organization that is known for being patient, they gave up on him pretty quickly. A year later, they are arguably the weakest QB depth chart in the league (and that’s saying something)
