  1. I know Cousins has stated he wants to stay with the Skins but I find it hard to believe with the way they've treated him, especially now saying they're going to evaluate him in the last 5 games, after he's been the starter for the last 3 seasons.
  2. Wait. Is James Coleman related to Walt Coleman?
  3. If the Bills make the playoffs, they are one of 12 teams. That means the highest their pick could be is 21. Let’s assume KC also makes it so the pick from them is similar. It then depends on what happens in the 1st round before they pick. If they have say 4 guys rated as 1st round picks and they’ve all been taken, do they just take the next QB on their list? I believe if both picks end up in the high teens or low 20s and they keep them, they would use one to take a QB
  4. What offense did Stanley Kubrick commit?
  5. Are we maybe missing the detail of Rex being told to bench Taylor and he refused, so he was fired? Then Lynn was told and he obeyed?
  6. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in real time and then saw the replays. What a poor effort.
  7. You're too kind to the Bills defense. Pats 64-17.
  8. Eli wasn't having that bad of a season with 14 TDs and 7 INTs for just over 2400 yards, especially since he lost OBJ and Brandon Marshall early and Sterling Shepard missed some games. His 219 yds per game, though, is a drop off from recent seasons (for comparison, TT at 184 yds/game). Also, despite the Giants' O-Line woes, Eli has been sacked only 26 times vs 31 for TT. I remember that Eli struggled some when McAdoo became OC but then had two of the best seasons of his career in 2014 and '15, with 30 TD passes in 2014, 35 in 2015, 14 INTs in both seasons and over 4400 passing yards in each.
  9. Maybe, but at 36 he's somewhat like Bledsoe when the Bills got him. Probably not much left.
  10. One thing you left out is that Tyrod is considered a very good leader. When you look at someone like Rosen, yeah he's a talented passer but his teammates don't like him. Cutler has a great arm but is not a leader. Teams need leaders and the QB is the leader of the offense and usually the team.
  11. Generally, when the Dolphins leave the warmth of Miami and play in Buffalo in December, the Bills win. The reverse has happened also and this season we get both. So, a split is likely. The way this NFL season has gone, though, the road teams will probably win.
  12. I agree. These scripted group celebrations weren't seen much before the restrictions were put in. I remember years ago the Redskins had the "Fun Bunch" with a quick celebration but mostly it was individual celebrations. It's pretty lame to mimic child games like leapfrog.
  13. A Fred Jackson type that is always falling forward.
  14. Another plodder in Jonathan Stewart. I'm not sure McCaffrey can be an every down back but Stewart is nearing the end also at 30 yrs old in his 10th season. I agree that the Bills may move on from McCoy after this season, mainly because of his salary. There may be only a few players left from the end of the 2016 on the team to start the 2018 season as I also think it's likely that Kyle Williams, Glenn, Clay, Alexander, Miller, Hughes and Taylor could all be gone.
  15. That was a great play. They are playing very well now. I guess my timing was off. I could've sworn the game was Friday but I couldn't find it on ESPN3 and then it appeared in Upcoming Games as today at 4. In the meantime I saw this thread but watched the game today anyways. Even though I hope to be around several more years, I know I won't likely see the Bulls competing for the national title (unless they expand the playoffs to 16). So, it was great in 2008 when the Bulls went to their first bowl after winning the MAC and then went to another a few years later. Now I just hope to see a bowl win. Early days of the AFL gave teams exclusive rights for players within their region. Too bad that practice doesn't exist today as the Bills would benefit from having first crack at T. Jackson, A. Johnson and Hodge.
  16. How do you think Kyle Williams feels? He could've retired or asked to be released or traded to have a chance to make the playoffs once in his career.
  17. Rinse. Repeat.
  18. Well I was at the game sitting on the Bills side not too far from the players. I was glancing at the players. Late in the 2nd Qtr, we saw Tyrod warming up and then it looked like he was in the offense’s sideline huddle before going on the field but Peterman went back out. I saw one player on the sidelines that looked like he threw his arms up in disgust
  19. Speaking of the Pegulas, do they attend road games and were they there yesterday?
  20. No, when the Bills are 5-9 or 5-10, Peterman can finish out the tank.
  21. I've mainly seen the Pac 12 QBs, (Darnold, Rosen, Falk, Browning) all of which have seemed to regress from last season. I watched the USC/UCLA game on Saturday and even though USC won, I agree with commentator Kirk Herbstriet that Rosen looked to be more polished and consistent. I watched some of the Oklahoma/Oklahoma St game where both Mayfield and Rudolph looked good. The concerns I have with Mayfield are his height at about 6 feet and he has small hands, which would likely hamper him playing in the cold and snow.
  22. I remember Pennington playing in windy late season games in Buffalo and the wind severely affecting his throws.
  23. Many rookie QBs throw pick sixes in their 1st start. It's like step 1 of the learning process .
  24. I'll be there with an LA fan who lives in Oceanside. May have to look into the San Diego Backers busses.
