  1. The Bills had their chance at a proven winner at QB in DeSean Watson this last draft. It'll be interesting to see how long before he's the starter with the Texans.
  2. What's frustrating and annoying though is them publicly stating they're not giving up (tanking) this year and not just getting rid of players they didn't bring in, but then their actions say otherwise. The exceptions are where they have given up good young talent, yet keep the likes of Tolbert, Yates, Holmes, etc. If they told us it was a rebuild and they then got rid of higher priced vets, I may not like it (17 years) but I would understand it and respect it. Saying one thing but doing another is not a good way to start their reign.
  3. Is that OT any relation to the coach?
  4. For once, I'll be looking forward to Sullivan asking the tough question and not letting up. "How do you justify these moves?" "What is the process?"
  5. Noodle arm? Have you even seen him play? He doesn't have a Rocket Arm like Allen but he still gets good force behind the ball. The Rutgers secondary played very well on Friday, not giving Jim a lot of open looks. Speaking of Allen, watched him for the 1st time today vs Iowa. They ran a lot of outs and he got the ball there quick, reminiscent of a Marino or Kelly. He missed a few throws, a couple due to pressure, and threw 2 4th Qtr INTs but overall looked pretty good. I also watched UB's Tyree Jackson vs Minnesota. Yes, he may turn out to be a Jamarcus Russell or EJ Manuel, but what an arm. Has some mobility also for a big guy.
  6. If you separate the two. There's always a lot of trades of picks during the draft, with New England known for making a few some years. As far as player deals, historically there usually haven't been that many and 5 by the Bills is definitely above average for an offseason. My guess is they may also not be done.
  7. One time I say unleash Jerry Sullivan on them. "With so few players remaining from last season, how can you say you're not getting rid of players brought in by the prior regime?"
  8. Yes, I thought the title might be a typo.
  9. If Andy Reid can't figure out a way to use you, may be time to gang them up or go north of the border.
  10. Aw, c'mon! Obviously McBeane doesn't believe in collecting Williams.
  11. I wonder if they could've gotten the same package from Seattle that the Hawks gave the Jets for Shelden Richardson?
  12. How many teams have to get rid of Osweiler before some of you guys realize it's because he sucks?!
  13. And there was that annoying deputy with the "Can I Andy? Huh? Can I? Huh, huh?!
  14. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Not in this case. But, but...we had a Super Bowl team with a Pike on special teams!
  15. Well, how much could he build up his arm? Maybe he hasn't used weights much and can improve his strength.
  16. Wish I could send you some California heat. Hit 100 today and supposed to hit 107 tomorrow.
  17. Don't the Bills have season ticket holder focus groups to get fan input like the train whistle?
  18. Are there maybe 2 to choose from? For NBA League Pass and NHL Center Ice, there are usually both broadcasts but I'm talking regular season.
  19. Years ago? Manziel was in the 2014 draft.
  20. Yes, but if you read the 2 statements about Peterman & Wenning, if Wenning doesn't come up to speed and you don't want to expose Peterman, then who plays QB, Logan Thomas?
  21. That's worth more than two cents. It's the $64 Million question. Gailey and Schwartz are about the only recent coaches to coach to the players' strengths. Gailey was the only one to get great production from C.J. Spiller . Others tried to foolishly run him off-tackle and up the middle. If Marques Goodwin can stay healthy ( big if we know), watch what Kyle Shanahan does with him. Belechick uses his players' strengths but then takes it one step further by varying his game plans so th opposing team doesn't know what they're going to run. How many offensive coordinators have the Bills had where you can predict a good % of plays they're going to run? If we fans can do it, it's easy for the opposing coaches and players.
