Yes, I was listening to Sirius's NFL Channel earlier and this one guy was throwing out stats like QB rating, TD to INT ratio, etc. and saying statistically he was the best QB they ever had. He also said Tyrod was having his best season. He and his partner (Kirwan?) discussed that it appears the Bills are tanking by benching him for a 5th round nobody, especially when you add this to the Watkins & Dareus trades.

Yes, in the last 2 games, the opposing defense did a great job of containing Tyrod in the pocket and he failed. It's somewhat amazing he's held up this long. I know a QB's size can be overcome (Brees), but you see him in a post game press conference without jersey and pads and he looks so small. I think his listed height and weight of 6-1, 215 may have been padded.

Yes, consider, that from the team that finished last season, 3 former 1st round picks (Watkins, Gillmore, Dareus) and 4 former 2nd end picks (Woods, Darby, Ragland, Kouandjio) are gone. Not all of those players lived up to their draft position but that's a lot of talent shipped out.

I was so disgusted that, where I normally watch the best 2nd game matchup and usually watch the Sun nite game depending on the matchup on paper (Den/New Eng didn't seem so bad), I cancelled the recordings and watched a couple comedy movies instead. The Bills last 2 games weren't very encouraging but they still hold a wild card spot. The way the AFC is looking, 8-8 may get the 2nd wild card.

Or were they really overachieving in the first few games and now slid back to earth? The defense was playing so well and while there have been some short-term injuries, they don't explain the poor performances in these last 2 games. Even though I sort of watched the whole game today, it was very discouraging. I bought tickets to next week's game when things were going well. Now I'm not looking forward to it. Melvin Gordon could get 200+ yards rushing. Be sure to pick him for DFS.

This has been discussed before. He wasn't expected to be a major pass rusher. His main contributions have been setting the edge on running plays. On Thurs night, Romo pointed out how he was doing great setting the edge.

Since Elway chose to hire him despite being inexperienced, he may get a pass. I've seen him make some poor decisions, including a couple vs the Bills, but they may consider that he's still learning. Today, though, he showed signs of ruining their defense, although having poor QB play doesn't help.

I think they've gone way overboard with this. Why are we tieing up the courts with motions for this thug who has supposedly beat up his girlfriend multiple times? Why do we involve the courts anyways involving discipline for football players? It goes back to the Goodell/Brady feud. Goodell, in my opinion, went way overboard on the length of suspension for deflated footballs and Brady set a precedent by taking it to the courts. Now, how often are we going to have to go thru this when a player objects to his suspension?

He keeps his job because he's controversial and people listen and call in to his show. If everybody just ignored him, he'd probably go away. One way?

I wonder, when some of these recent trades were announced, how many GMs from other teams say/think "we could've got him for that?" ?
