Fair question. 1) Fewell's defense was in place. Gailey switched to the 3-4 without the personnel. Bills D got a lot of picks last year. Offenses game planned differently... playing conservative because they knew the Bills offense was no threat. 2) Fewell wasn't looking past next week. Gailey is. He knows he'll be back next year and knows what personnel changes he wants to make. 3) Fewell didn't have high expectations from the fans or his bosses. Gailey does have a lot expected from him. His mulligan season is almost over. 4) NFL teams didn't have a good feel for Fitzy during the second half of the season. Teams have that feel now. The Bills O ain't gonna surprise any team... whatever they get, they've earned the hard way.

Are you serious? What drama queens. That's all you got? Someone has too much time on their hands. What a waste of band width.

Incognito was mistake to let go
Dr. Trooth replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. It was a huge mistake letting him go, especially considering the circumstances. He had a contract in place, Wood's injury was severe and his comeback was no slam dunk, plus, with Wood at C and Inconito next to him, it could have been a good combination of nasty. The Bills would have always had the option to let Incognito go either late in the offseason or during/after preseason. Hell, they though Coprnell Green was an upgrade? WTF? This move alone is the kind of evidence that fuels the flames that the Bills FO is totally incompetent. Look at what they are doing now... dumpster diving for offensive linemen that even bad teams have tossed off their rosters... Wrotto, Brown, Pears, Rinehart... and continuing to ignore the fact that LT is barely adequate with Bell manning that position. -
What will that accomplish? Find out who his boss is and write to him.

What planet have you been on dude? Take a look at the last six 1st rd. pix the Bills have made (except for Wood). Any of em done much for ya lately? You trust the Bills with a 1st rd. pick?

I'm more apt to believe you rather than the reported figure of 50,800 something. I think someone was spinning the turnstyles to inflate the attendance.

McGee may get significant playing time vs Browns
Dr. Trooth replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm a thinkin that we need to give McGee the week off. Browns passing game aint much, but their Running game is. How about a 5-4-2! -
This weeks game is blacked out

Bills/Browns game viewed as so bad by CBS
Dr. Trooth replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I'm sure the Thruway is gonna be packed with folks anxious to make that trek... _$15.00 round trip thruway fare _$95.00 round trip fuel price _$100.00 scalped price for 4 tickets _$20.00 parking fee. _$160.00 food & beverages enroute, before, after game. _$120.00 Hotel fees _Witnessing Peyton Hillis be the first human to rush for 325 yards in an NFL game... PRICELESS _Witnessing the look on your face when you realize you could have bought a new laptop with the money you just pissed away... PRICELESS -
OK... Linebackers are a glaring weakness. However, they are not the biggest single need on defense. If you are running a 3-4 and want one that can't be moved on easily, you MUST have a big fat nasty NT. The Bills don't have one. It's not a knock on Kyle williams... OK he's nasty, but at NT 1 out of three is bad (not big & fat enough). Get a big fat nasty NT and slide Williams over to DE... then he'll be be big and nasty... and you don't want the fat at DE.

Lack of use of TE as a blocker
Dr. Trooth replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You have a point. If ya ain't gonna use the TE as a receiveing terget, at least get one in there that excels at blocking or don't play one at all. Use an Olineman instead. Who knows, that may be exactly why they picked up Chandler. He's got to be one of the biggest TEs in the league. -
The Grass Isn't Greener Over There
Dr. Trooth replied to whodat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get it, the old "disparage and malign" someone else's team trick to deflect attention from your team... or better yet, make you feel so much better. because they are so much worse. Just a guess, but fans in Denver and Washington probably think your team is a joke... and if they do, you couldn't blame them for that. -
I think he was upset that Fitz got hit so many times and not one ofensive lineman took issue with it. If I'm the HC, I don't want offensive lineman that don't take it personal when their QB gets his ass kicked. I'd want lineman that would get seriously physical with the oppostion's defensive line/LBs. You can't teach that... either you're a prideful competitor or you're not. Wood is the only OL that has that mentality.

O-line and Linebackers, Future of the Bills
Dr. Trooth replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We keep saying he's gonna be good. If he was, he wouldn't have gotten schooled today. He's as good as he's gonna get.... barely adequate. -
Folks, you can make all the excuses you want. The Bills sucked before their injuries. For Christ's sake, they're 2-10. Accept the fact that they stink, and hope the NFL cancels next season so we can get a year off from them sucking hind tit.

We didn't lost today because we're bad....
Dr. Trooth replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK dude, whatever. We're 2-10. What is bad if that aint? -
Well, I'm not sure that the Bills need a QB. Fitz has been doing OK with a lack of a supporting cast. However, we needed an LT and an a NT out of the last draft. And you know what, we still need a LT and a NT.... not to mention RT, LB, TE. Odds are they'll draft a CB #1 again. I can't say I disagree with that after McKelvin's performance this year. The Bills just suck and until the ownership changes hands they ain't even gonna sniff playoffs.
-
Hell, I guarantee the Bills are gonna F%@k their pick up. The only upside, as you mention, is that Wilson is gonna take it up his arse big time paying guaranteed money to another bust... and deservedly so. He hasn't given two schittz about the fans for a long time.

Anybody have seats in the M&T Club?
Dr. Trooth replied to Fan in San Diego's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What he said. But, antiseptic from the game might be a good thing... 2-12 Bills facing the mighty Pats? Being detached from the game, and even perhaps anesthetizing one's self beforehand ain't a bad idea. However, you could do that at home and save your money. -
Bright Spot of the Day.....................
Dr. Trooth replied to cåblelady's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, the bright spot of the day for me was turning the damn chanel to MSG and watch the Knicks club the Raptors. When anyone turns the chanel to watch the Knicks, you realize just how bad this Bills team is. If the Knicks had been sucking, I just might have watched a Hallmark movie... and that is real bad. -
Hey, the Bills are 2-10. I won't disagree with you. But, there are quite a few pansies on this team.
-
Holy sacks batman. If the Bills Oline was playing great until injuries, then what would you call the oline play of teams like the Pats, Chargers? And, If their Oline is so damn good, why can't they run the football? Whay can't they keep the defense off the field? Time for reality... no BS, no sunshine, no rain, just, it is what it is... LT and RT are the Bills albatross. (and an upgrade at center would'nt hurt)

Did anyone just see that BOMB from Cam Newton?
Dr. Trooth replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. I saw it. It brought back memories of Michael Bishop.
