  1. NFL will look at the fumble-out-of-end-zone rule Good riddance, hope they come to their senses.
  2. 18 mph winds are nothing to sneeze at, either. (Or sneeze into, for that matter.)
  3. People seem to expect Von to have already returned to form by now, and because he hasn’t he’s a bust. That’s just not how these injuries work. He’s making slow, gradual improvement and won’t be back to his old form until next year. But that doesn’t mean his rehab isn’t going well and that he can’t have even some small impact this year. It just takes time to get back into form. People just need patience, which I know is asking a lot of some folks.
  4. So you’re looking for a good punt catcher?
  5. Yeah. Unfortunately, Poyer is losing a step. I think he’ll stick around another year while we train up his replacement. On the other side, Hyde is at the point where he just needs to retire. We can’t rely on him being healthy for long stretches anymore. Sucks because they were an awesome duo to have for all these years. Hope we can find worthy replacements.
  6. pectoral tear. Very tough injury to deal with, need to come back pretty carefully, though others have done it. I think he could see the field by the end of the season if we’re still in it.
  7. Bills win this game against Dallas and the rest of the AFC be watching like...
  8. Personally, I don't think we have the WRs who can block well enough to allow the intended receiver to pick up YAC.
  9. I was thinking the same thing today as I was watching the game. Not sure what's up with him.
  10. Although, on the plus side, there were a couple of Von sightings in the second half. We need that.
  11. I mean, this hits the nail on the head for me. I missed the guy lined up offside, so I was just feeling the same feels that I have every week this year. And yes, I did say to myself that I was somehow glad to have all that time left on the clock, and then with the penalty, I was pissed that the Chiefs would just end up doing the same but using more time. Man, I am a loser.
  12. Given that the Cowboys game is just over a week from now and DaQuon hasn’t been activated from IR yet, I’d say that’s not going to happen. That said, it’s nice to hear he’s trying to come back this year. Maybe he can come back for the final stretch if there’s still a chance at the playoffs. That would be real sweet.
  13. Holy moly, I hope that's all correct. That makes me feel a bit better about next year, but we'll see.
  14. What I heard is that the Packers were effective against the Chiefs D by using a lot of play action and misdirection plays, which slowed down their pass rush (specifically, Chris Jones). They'll be looking for it this week.
  15. Still, all they needed to do was force them to kick a FG and it goes to OT. They still allowed 35 more yards and a TD to lose it.
  16. Love the enthusiasm, dawg, and I agree that it is within the realm of possibility. I just don't see how you can be so confident knowing that McD's defense can't be counted on for anything at the end of games. If there's one thing we've learned over the years, and especially this year, is that no matter how good the offense is playing, no matter how many points we score, our 4th Q/OT defense is an even bet to lose the game for us. If it's a close game at the end, it's almost a coin flip.
  17. I still just cannot fathom how this team allowed him to drive 75 yards in the final minutes to a game winning touchdown. I mean, that is just a colossal failure. I can't even understand it.
  18. I hate whining about it as well, but for whatever reason it just seems so much worse this year. Even when it's not a Bills game, it's hard to watch. It seems like every game I watch has one or more calls happen or not happen in the final minutes to have a huge impact on the game.
  19. Totally agree. At a time when the NFL is under intense criticism for the officiating, it was insane how that entire last drive, with the game on the line, was just one long session of “look at how indescribably terrible our refs are.”
  20. Fair enough.
  21. Pretty much everything you said is true. But like @corta765 says, when you have a QB like Josh in his prime, missing the playoffs is an inexcusable catastrophe, an embarrassment to the organization. There’s no way around that.
  22. From the Buffalo News: I mean, you don't pay a defensive-minded coach to excel at defense for three quarters and then ***** the bed at the end when it counts.
  23. The thing that really gets me is that it's the defense that ultimately failed us in all of those catastrophic losses. And defense is supposed to be his specialty.
  24. Who own da Chiefs?
