  1. I say we blame McKenzie for that. Cool part about this clip is that it shows just how important Edmunds and Taron Johnson are to this defense.
  2. This sounds awesome! It would probably sound even better if I could ever understand what DVOA means.
  3. I disagree, at least for Boogie. I think he has shown some decent flashes so far this season. He has a ways to go to become what we need him to be, but I’d say he’s making some progress.
  4. I can’t imagine anyone being concerned about the Steelers throwing for over 300 yards in a game the Bills won by 5 touchdowns. I also can’t imagine anyone being truly concerned about our defense allowing over 300 yards to a QB who averages 300 yards per game for his career. Mahomes will get his; the real question is, how many points will you keep him to? 20 is pretty impressive.
  5. I really wish people would stop with blaming McKenzie for the fumble.
  6. Sure thing. Everyone is welcome to their own opinion, I guess.
  7. As I've posted before, it comes right from McKenzie's mouth:
  8. Sure, whatever you think. Sometimes guys come along at different rates than others. Guys have been known to be in the league for years before developing into special players. Sometimes it's opportunity, sometimes it's injury, sometimes it's other factors. I don't really care. They may be different situations, but there are similar underlying features. One is drops. I'm sure you weren't one of those calling for a replacement for Knox when he was dropping multiple easy catches. The hate on McK is largely unwarranted.
  9. Good thing some of you folks aren't in charge of personnel, otherwise Knox would have been gone a long time ago.
  10. I posted this in another thread, but this hating on McK for the fumble is most likely misplaced. From his own description of the play: From my view, I agree...it didn't look like he was supposed to get the ball like that.
  11. McKenzie was asked about it and this is his report of the play: That's what it looked like to me, too. I don't think he was supposed to get the ball on that play.
  12. Not sure why they abandoned the run in the second half; Singletary was playing out of his mind. But it worked out in the end, so who cares!
  13. This is just your friendly reminder that it's HIPAA, not HIPPA.
  14. Like him or not, a nice article from Tim Graham over at The Athletic. How the Bills plan to tackle their next tight end challenge: Travis Kelce A couple excerpts: Can the Bills contain him? They haven't so far... I hope they continue their current success...
  15. I guess we all need something to worry about...
  16. I don't hate the Chiefs. What I'll give Reid and Mahomes and the rest is that they are entertaining to watch. I'll watch them any day over whatever that garbage was on TNF last night, or the week before that. I get frustrated watching them sometimes, wondering when someone, anyone, will figure out how to stop Mahomes and Kelce. And it's gotten to the point where I really can't stand hearing Mahomes calling out "Blue 80" or whatever the hell he says prior to every freaking play. But that's about it.
  17. According to this guy, who I think is really good.... I agree with @Process, this is about as good as we could hope for right now. If we can come out of this game without anything serious, we could be near full strength and health after the bye.
  18. Definitely would recommend Synder not visit any Russian high rise buildings anytime soon.
  19. The question, though, would be what pants would they wear? This year it seems like the Bills are going for the uniforms that provide the most contrast with the other team. If they are going up against a team with white jerseys and light pants (eg, Rams, Titans, Steelers) they are going for the big-contrast blue-on-blues, while the opposite seems true for the alternative (eg, white-on-white for the Ravens, who wore all dark unis). The exception was the Dolphins game, but given the extreme heat I'm not surprised they went with the light pants if just to avoid the dark-on-dark uniform. I tried to see what the Chiefs are wearing this week but couldn't find it. I wouldn't be surprised if they were going with their red-on-red unis, making the Bills go with the contrasting white-on-whites. That's what they did last year during the regular season win. If the Chiefs are going with red-on-whites, I would think the Bills would go with white-on-blues, but in the playoff game last year the Chiefs did that and the Bills went with the all-whites. By my assessment, this is the main reason they lost the playoff game. 😉 In the unlikely event of a Dallas-Buffalo Super Bowl and Dallas chooses the white jerseys/silver pants, I'd bet the Bills would go with the greater contrast with the blue-on-blues.
  20. I still can't figure out who took that video. If it was official, you'd think we would have seen more of it by now. This person looks like they're low to the ground in the end zone or something.
  21. This has to be one of the best lines I've read around here in a long time.
  22. I remember reading somewhere that Gilliam was asked to do more on special teams this week because a number of the younger guys who usually play special teams were forced into regular roles. So they needed Gilliam more for special teams this time. As we get guys back, Gilliam can get back into the offensive game plan. I really think he is more versatile than we think and really sneaky good. He definitely had a great game with the 4 TDs, though at the same time he had like 7 catches for only something like 27 total yards. He was great in the red zone for sure, but the Raiders didn’t let him do much else. (Like it mattered, but still…)
