Great seats. Bills side, row 35, seats 18-19, so about the 47-yard line. Seniority since 1977. Sounds like they will offer me a chance at similar seats in what is now the Club section, and if I don't want those, I'd have to come back at a later date to pick something that is non-Club.

Thanks. I thought I had heard they might accommodate virtual visits, but wasn't sure.

Hey...just got an email from my Bills season ticket rep, who said I'm going to be getting the call soon to come down and check out the Experience. I have a couple questions I was hoping some of you here may have the answers to: How much lead time do they usually give? Like, when I hear about my scheduled date, will it probably be that next weekend, a couple weeks from then, a month from then? Is there a virtual option, or am I required to be there in person? Can I have a family member (eg, cousin) attend in person in my place, or does it need to be me? Thanks...

Here's Morgan, Schoen, and Beane, three once-Bills GMs, talking about trading up to 6 in the draft while at the Senior Bowl.

AFC Best Case Worst Case Season Outlook July Edition
Rubes replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd probably stipulate that each team's "worst-case scenario" should exclude the obvious possibility of losing the team's best player (eg, QB) to a season-ending injury early in the season. That's just too easy. -
Name one player you hope you are wrong about...

One player I hope all the rest of you are wrong about is Tyler Bass. I still think he will get back to form, but it sure feels like a lot of folks here have already given up on him.- 97 replies

Post your best Father/Son or Daughter sports moments
Rubes replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
One I remember vividly was going to the fandemonium Bills-Jets game in 1988 when they won the AFC East in overtime, and everybody stormed the field. My dad absolutely hated traffic, so when the Jets lined up for the game winning FG in regulation, he grabbed me and headed to the top of the aisle, ready to hightail it out of there if it was good. As we all know, Smerlas blocked the kick, sending it to OT. I grabbed my dad and we ran back to our seats to witness the rest. Great day all around. -
I know some on here were hoping for him to somehow end up here... https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40356447/source-bengals-wr-tee-higgins-sign-franchise-tender

Ten Years Since Ralph The Good, The Bad, The Weird...?
Rubes replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have nothing to add, just wanted to say that was an awesome writeup, top to bottom. -
I get it, but... Raise your hand if you thought that, once Rodgers was sidelined after 4 plays last year, the Bills would roll to victory over the Zach Wilson-led Jets?

The list of most miserable fanbases in sports
Rubes replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
How in the world is the University of Utah on this list? We've had some great years recently, and not just in football. -
Maybe he's just trying to get out of Carolina. Someone would probably pick him up if he's cut.

Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief
Rubes replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven't looked at this thread in a long time, but I keep seeing it at the top of the thread list. So I popped in to see what in the world people could still be saying about Worthy at this point and now I can't remember which message board I'm on. -
What to do with the post June $10 M that will be available
Rubes replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
The day finally arrived, and according to Fanatics we currently stand at $11.1 million under. What happens next...? -

Dan Marino limped for the rest of his career after his injury. Obviously it was a long time ago, but it could just mean his achilles healed in a way that will always result in a limp (rather than not being fully healed). I'm still with you, I don't think he's truly healed yet, and this could be a bad sign. But, it could also just be nothing.

Not someone who I think is the most frustrating player ever, but I do recall being repeatedly pissed off at Antowain Smith. Guy had a ton of talent and could not figure out how to run the ball in the big leagues. Backups would come in and outplay him, and he would still get the start the following week.
