Zuerlein will be out of the league tomorrow, maybe even tonight.

Sam Darnold and other QB resurrections
Albany,n.y. replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess you don't remember the story where the Bills were traveling to meet Allen before the draft in Terry's plane & they hit such bad turbulence that Daboll called his wife fearing he might not make it home alive. Not only was Daboll here before Allen, but he was involved in the QB interviews & workouts. -
The best they can do is an 8th round pick.

2018 QB draft and passer rating rankings this season
Albany,n.y. replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Broncos didn't think they were in the QB market. They worked out a trade with the Bills for pick 5, contingent on B. Chubb being available. It was either Chubb or trade the pick to the Bills, no QB for Denver that year. -
2018 QB draft and passer rating rankings this season

2020 was pretty good too. Burrow, Tua, Herbert, Love, Hurts. Rosen is the ultimate legacy. Wharton Biz School was founded by one of his ancestors. -
https://sports.yahoo.com/deshaun-watson-leaves-browns-bengals-game-on-cart-in-tears-with-achilles-injury-182224331.html Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson left Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an Achilles injury. Watson planted his right leg in the first half as he started to scramble and immediately crumpled to the turf in pain. Athletic trainers tended to Watson on the field as backup quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson warmed up. Watson eventually left the field on a cart. Watson covered his face with a towel in tears as he was carted off the field. The Browns eventually ruled Watson out with an Achilles injury.

10/20/24 Game 7 GAMEDAY Bills vs Titans PREGAME THREAD

My theory: He married a punter's daughter instead of a kicker's daughter. She keeps giving him advice as if he was a punter. -
One of the worst guys in the media has been Chris Churchill in his column in the Albany Times Union. The funny part is, they run his column in the Buffalo News sometimes, but I don't think they ran the ones where he whined about the Bills new stadium. They also didn't cry when the Yankees & Mets got new stadiums in 2009. The interesting part was that the roof had a service life significantly lower than it's age & should have been replaced by now.

The good news is that it will be years before Fox's #1 broadcast team will be at a Raiders game and by that time Brady won't be in the booth any longer. He may have a longer network career than Joe Namath & Jim Kelly, but he won't get a 2nd contract & may get bought out of his 1st sooner than later.
-
The next team gets him at a reduced rate until he produces. His next contract has nothing to do with what the Bills are or would be paying him under your scenario. His best chance at a 10 year career is: START MAKING HIS KICKS.

It had to be a cheap option because the eastern part of the state doesn't want to give any money to WNY. You should see how the media from Albany on south were screaming like stuck pigs when the deal for the new stadium was made, and to this day once in a while someone writes a new column complaining about the new Highmark .

So about the refs tonight UPDATE: Rams game discussion on page 14

Watching the game, I started thinking that the refs were more interested in being on TV in primetime than doing their jobs. -

There are a lot of players who don't wear their team's gear after the game. Did you ever see Ryan Fitzpatrick or Cam Newton after a game? https://images.app.goo.gl/EdpYqdLzDbuRzZik7 https://images.app.goo.gl/V96k5x9QmFUxd4UJ6 -

James cook misses practice with a foot injury Wed/Thur
Albany,n.y. replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frank Gore Jr will rush for over 100 yards & will be signed to the 53-man roster by next Tuesday afternoon. When you can't Cook the Jets D, it's time to Gore them. -
They could have fired him right after the game and just left him in London.
-
They blew it by not hiring Jimmy Spagnola.
-
Jimmy Spagnola is headed to the Washington Bridge. Don't do it Jimmy, we need to laugh at you next week.

Jet lag. 2nd pick.

He's now attending Wharton School of Business, which was founded by a family member of his generations ago: https://www.thebiglead.com/posts/josh-rosen-one-of-nfl-s-biggest-qb-busts-is-preparing-for-success The 27-year-old Rosen hasn't posted on his Instagram or X accounts in years, so his whereabouts have been largely unknown to the public — until Monday afternoon. That's when legendary Los Angeles Times high school sports reporter Eric Sondheimer tweeted an update on Rosen. According to Sondheimer, Rosen is attending one of the top business schools in America: Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Rosen's Wikipedia page lists a connection to Wharton. He is the maternal great-great-great grandson of Joseph Wharton, the co-founder of Bethlehem Steel and founder of the Wharton School. The varied interests that scared NFL talent evaluators is now allowing Rosen to pursue success outside of football, which might not have been his sole focus in life like most pro prospects. It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for the Southern California native.

Watching the Chiefs win another close game in the 4th quarter is just sickening.

I remember before that game I was warning people to be careful what you wish for, since I had been through the whole "we want Marangi" years. I even went so far as to call Peterman "Nathan Marangi" before the game. I went to the game & at halftime I had to call a fellow Bills fan & laugh at Peterman. After the game I went on one of the Bills message boards & posted an apology to Gary Marangi for comparing him with Nathan Peterman. Yes, Peterman was bad that day, but he was a rookie being thrown into the fire on the road. Marangi was in his 3rd season when he set the NFL record for completion % futility.

I don't think the NY media will find anything to blame Rodgers for. I watched the game & he still looked like the best player on the field.
