  1. What's wrong with the 49ers? I don't know if SF is going to make the playoffs. Should Shanahan be fired?
  2. He is stuck until after his 3rd season. Can't be extended this summer.
  3. He would if he didn't know the camera was on him. Remember who drafted him & where he spent his rookie year.
  4. That's how they tried to spin it on the broadcast, but I'm not buying it.
  5. O'Connell & Hockenson looking at fines after the coach told him to fake an injury.
  6. 1) He wasn't going to stay there when other teams were interest, hence GB giving up a #1 for him. 2) Glanville only lasted 3 years in Atlanta. If he had stayed at worst he would have been the starter in 1994 & at best management would have told Glanville to play Favre after Miller got injured in both 1992 & 1993. If Glanville refused he might have been fired as early as 1992.
  7. The QB history of a college's QBs can be really bad-UNTIL IT ISN'T. Example: What QB from Wyoming ever achieved stardom in the NFL before the 2018 draft? There's a long list of Ohio State QB failures in the NFL, but it looks like the best QB from the 2023 draft came from Ohio State. If Carolina used the past history of Ohio State QBs to decide to pass on Stroud, it was a pretty poor decision. The past failures of other players from a university is irrelevant when scouting a player. Same is true the other way. Stanford had produced some pretty good QBs over the years (Elway, Plunkett, Brodie) before Trent Edwards was drafted, but when Trent Edwards was with the Bills, the legacy of Stanford QBs didn't mean anything.
  8. Brett Favre was a 2nd round rookie who barely played behind a veteran starter who made the Pro Bowl that year & then was traded for a 1st round pick a year later. That does not fit the definition of mostly a bust. If so why was a team willing to trade a 1st rounder for a 2nd round pick from the year before? A bust would be Brian Brohm, a 2nd round pick waived after preseason his 2nd season & not claimed after going on waivers & allowed to go on the team's practice squad, or Christian Hackenberg who in 2 seasons was never allowed to play a down & was sent away after those 2 years & failed everywhere he went including spring minor league football.
  9. Why? Because some clown in the media made up a story that cannot possibly be true based on the NFL's rules?
  10. Here's my football experience: when I was a teenager I was tossing a football to myself in my room, went for a diving catch and my knee (unhurt) put a hole in the wall. It took a few days but my mother found the hole after I put scotch tape over it trying to hide it. I don't remember what excuse I used, but I remember getting yelled at.
  11. I'm reporting that the Bills got special dispensation to have their salary cap $100 million higher than any other team. I haven't confirmed it yet, but that what I'm reporting.
  12. So basically, whoever was the 1st in the media to write this garbage didn't know what they were talking about.
  13. The Bills totally screwed up trading Lynch and only getting 2 mid round picks. My take is if they were set at trading him they should have done it before the draft. Instead they kept him when his market value was higher & then drafted C J Spiller with their #1 pick. Once they drafted Spiller, they were announcing to the world that Lynch could be had. Then they cut into his playing time & further devalued him. I remember Buddy Nix admitting he wasn't the smartest guy in the room, and his handling of the whole situation affirmed that.
  14. He got hurt playing on the bad turf in London.
  15. Frazier will never get another NFL head coaching job. Chicago will go offense to mentor Caleb. Fields will be traded to whatever team thinks they can turn him around. No team is passing up Williams with the 1st pick unless he refuses to sign. Chicago has Carolina's pick so either with that pick or their own, they're drafting #1. In order to assure Williams signs, they'll either go after the hottest assistant available or bring in a big name proven coach possibly through a trade.
  16. He's spending all his money on the 30 something woman who was next to him at the game. She's gone as soon as he really runs out of money.
  17. Fire all the OCs, that's what the message boards are saying.🤗
  18. His parents told him to knock it off with the Tuurod stuff. "We named you Ty-rod and that's how you'll pronounce it son."
  19. Back in the Rob Johnson days the 49ers kept interfering in the end zone right before halftime and the Bills were forced to kick a FG because they succeeded in running enough time off the clock Wade couldn't risk going into the half without scoring on the drive. For the Bills during that time it should have been titled "Quarterback tears"
  20. I'm supposed to believe Dan Marino's brother? 🤣
