Josh wanted to lateral on that 3rd and goal
mushypeaches replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh has 6 total turnovers this year I think that we can finally trust him to make the right decisions with the ball -
I can't believe that this is an actual message board topic the day after we won a Divisional playoff game

It doesn't help when the callers all seem to put on their homemade tinfoil hats before they pick up the phone

The Best Stories from Josh Allen's College Days (Athletic article)
mushypeaches replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had the chance to stop for the night in Laramie WY while driving to the Seattle game in October. Hung out at a local brewpub and everyone I spoke with had great things to say about Josh Allen, the person. BTW - Laramie is an amazing town. I can see why it was the perfect place for him to live and play college ball. I'm sure that Wyoming isn't for everyone, but it sure worked for him -
When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us

That's because the inmates ran that asylum

Would love to see him in the old McKenzie role, especially against a team that plays a lot of man coverage - but as others have noted, that's unlikely and he won't see a ton of snaps

You're thinking of our former DC Jerry Gray

DOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!! -
It's not a cheap shot - have you paid attention to her attempts to run that franchise since Bud's death? They've won as many titles as the Bills without having a drought

And yet another AFC team that has no clue on how to run a competent organization GM, coach, ownership all on different pages Is there any doubt that they'll fire the coach next year (if he even makes it once they hire a new GM)? Clearly, Amy Adams Strunk has inherited very little beyond the $$$ bequeathed in her daddy's will Of course, Ol' Bud didn't have much in the way of brains or class, as exhibited in the famous double bird that he once gave Ralph Wilson Lather, rinse, and repeat!

So what did we think of Buffalo Joe Andreesen at MLB?
mushypeaches replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
All I know is that he’s miles ahead of Baylon Spector and that dude has been here it seems like since 2013 -
Diva wide receiver shenanigans strike again!
mushypeaches replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that the WR contract market is heading in the same direction as RB's long-term Perhaps not quite as extreme, but there's just not the incremental value that comes in locking up players at that position in super crazy second contracts when you have the quality and quantity of players coming in each draft class. Especially with how offensive schemes are being designed these days and the WR-RB roles becoming more interchangeable. Maybe I just love the direction that the Bills have seemingly gone in with prioritizing OL quality and depth in favor of paying at the WR position. It's certainly worked this year and is more sustainable long-term. And also... EFF Tyreek Hill -
Come on man - nobody is hiring Jon Gruden. I've read nothing in any of the prominent sites that even mentions him, let alone "serious candidate" That being said, he is perfect for the Jets, and I would gladly eat my words if they hired him

Give me Miami all day in the WC round. I get the whole "3X in one year, any given Sunday" stuff... But does anyone think they're actually going to come into a frigid Buffalo environment and win? Did anyone watch their performance against KC last year? They practically gave up the minute they got off the bus

Wild Card date and time (rumor/speculation)
mushypeaches replied to SectionC3's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that Sunday makes the most sense too. Especially since Miami & Denver are playing in the late window this coming Sunday -
And to think, we complain about the Pegulas

OK champ, I’m old enough to have watched all of Jim Kelly’s career in those years. I’ll say it again - he was great then and wouldn’t be more than a backup now. That’s how much the game has grown and progressed. Want to keep trashing me? Go back and watch some of his performances from 94-96, when he could barely move and had lost his fastball
-
You are delusional if you think Jim Kelly would be a good QB today. His arm strength would be below average. His athleticism would be even worse. Yes, he was tough and smart. But I’ve re-watched at least 50 of his old games and he’d be getting killed against todays athletes and defensive schemes

Roster moves - includes release of Toohill
mushypeaches replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
All are reasonable transactions. It was a surprise that Toohill made this team to begin with -
Why hasn't the Samuel signing worked?
mushypeaches replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the main reason is that Samuel has lost a good part of the speed element that made him unique. Without that, he’s not awfully useful in this offense
