Regardless of the merits of the class action lawsuit, this was a misstep by Joe Schoen or someone else in the Giants ownership. Even if he wanted Daboll, he/they should have kept quiet and let the interviews happen before saying anything to anyone. Daboll should be hoping that he can keep his job and that his contract isn’t terminated by the NFL. Will be interesting to see if the NFL punishes the Giants in any way. Might be a rough way for Daboll to start his coaching career if he gets embroiled in this legal mess.

If there was a dispute between McD and Daboll about the run game, McD was right. When we got the run game going, we became a better team.

Interesting how three historically struggling old AFC teams have each found the perfect quarterback for their city to lead them into the future. KC, Cinci, and Bills. I suspect that fans of each team would not want to trade for any other QB. It’s time for teams like Pitt, and NE to take a back seat for a decade.

Go Cinci. Their fans are deserving. Happy for them. Next year, it’s Bills.

The perfect game we had vs the Pats is really something special. This Uber talented KC team can’t even get close to that against the Bengals in ideal conditions today. Watching these games seems so boring compared to watching Allen make amazing plays. We should be playing….

Josh excels on his laser throws. Types of throws I don’t see him do as often include back shoulder and the high touch throws in the end zone, like the throw-away to Knox in the NE game. Mastering the arc of his throws like Rogers or Wilson can do. While he may not be the best at these, it doesn’t seem to limit him rather it is just developing an off-speed pitch.

Gabe is developing very nicely. I think we lose 2/3 of Sanders, McKenzie or Beasley. If so, they need to draft receiver. Either a big physical type or speed. Hopefully Stevenson also develops.

The last 13 were bad but the offense stalled middle of the game when Daboll leaned too hard on the run game without giving Josh a chance to run or pass before not converting 3rd downs. When their safety left the game, we never challenged them deep until much later. We played them even for an entire game and lost on a coin flip. There were a bunch of things we could have done to not be in that situation at the end.

Everyone is framing it as Allen v Mahomes. But we all know football is a team sport. Allen has equaled Mahomes in QB ability. The problem is we don’t have a Hill or Kielce other speed players like KC has. Bills have definitely closed the gap since last year, but still need to get over the mountain.

Results of the game sucked. On the bright side, I bet there are a lot of new Josh Allen fans converted tonight. He was unbelievable and I think outplayed Mahomes. Chiefs got better skill players to help Mahomes and ultimately win the game.

I agree with a previous poster who mentioned that something seems to be missing with Rogers. He is immensely talented but I think Allen has something which Rogers is missing. Would Rogers do whatever was necessary to win a game? Does he inspire and rally his team around him? I’m not sure of the answers for Rogers. I know the answer to both those is a big Yes for Allen.

On the McAfee show Josh mentioned in highschool he was tortuga or turtle. He said the bigger he has gotten, the faster he has gotten. I think that’s why his running ability wasn’t really considered in the draft process. Scouts knew he could move well in the pocket but no one expected him to lead the league in yards per attempt.
