I’ve been amazed at the progress Allen has shown this year. A lot of it is the development from Allen and part of it is the improved team around him. The one area where I am still looking to see development from him is the ability to excel in the crappy weather conditions that will be coming. To be the perfect QB for Buffalo, I want a guy who loves playing in cold, snow, sleet, etc because he knows how to perform in those conditions and he knows he has an advantage over teams from milder climates. Kelley could do that. I think Josh can too, he just need to show it. The same goes for the other players on this team.

Allen is an athletic freak. That part was partially evident. No one knew if it would translate to the NFL. He is succeeding because he combines that with intangibles that people didn’t see. His drive and will to succeed through lots of work has propelled him to success. Luckily Bean & co. Recognized those intangibles and risked their jobs by selecting him. Their ability to build around him has also greatly contributed to Allen’s success.

Green Bay weather is just as bad or worse. Doesn’t bother Rogers.

I think you’re off a bit this week. I’d give him A- or A. The good far out weighed the bad. There was no int. I didn’t like the bad scrambles backwards for sacks. Needs to learn to throw away.

I have been optimistic on Allen from the beginning. He was so raw coming into the nfl but has traits you just can’t teach or measure like a burning desire to compete and improve and his clutch factor. Bean has done a tremendous job building a team to support him and allow him to grow and develop. I still don’t think we have seen his ceiling as he is ahead of schedule in his development. Let’s all enjoy the ride!

I’m ok with it inside the opponents 5 yd line or at critical 3rd down moments. I hate seeing him runnning in the middle of the field through traffic though. I’d rather see him angling towards the sidelines.

Thanks for the clarification on this. An artist I know is always paranoid about using any trademarked or copyrighted material.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer but NFL logos are trademarks and cannot be used for profit without permission from the NFL. Yes... it’s a bummer but I believe that’s the law.

I think that’s a fair assessment. He does look improved passing but gotta stop the fumbles.

Your poll question presumes that 50% of the time JA will be “bad”. I don’t think that will be the case this year. I think bad JA may show up 1 out of 5 games or quarters.

NOOOOO! Keep our homegrown talent as long as he wants to be here. Draft picks are only a chance at getting a talented player. There are no guarantees in the draft.

My opinion - It’s worse than we know. The country will eventually come back to life in stages after the spike in cases goes down in those areas. Summer may help. But it will not be normal activity - we will be working with social distancing limits which means no group sports and no fans in stands. Until vaccine or effective treatment comes along, no football and that stinks.
