In my experience as a hiring manager for a team of technical professionals, i can usually tell from a mile away if some is just shopping my offer. In at least half of those cases, i hear from them weeks later wanting to either negotiate or accept an offer that was already off the table. Those are the people who overvalue their market price, and as often as not, you're better off without them

Yeah, believe me, as a bills and bama fan, there's nothing I want more than for MD to be the greatest DT in the league. I just have a bad feeling about him that he doesnt care enough about football to get better/return to form and get the stink of rex off him
-
yeah, we'll see. he's the biggest disappointment on the bills in a long time for me, as a Bama fan.

yeah unfortunately, i kind of suspect we've seen the best of Dareus and it's going to be downhill from here. I don't think he has the drive to succeed long term, and he's at the end of where his raw physical strength is going to get it done. I was just thinking about this yesterday (Crimson tide spring practice first day!) and came to the conclusion that McDermott will probably scheme to minimize MD's role so when MD decides to phone it in, he wont take the whole D with him

Any way you slice it Kaepernick represents good value
dorquemada replied to stuvian's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
it sounds like some people clutch their pearls and have to find a fainting couch when anyone expresses an opinion to the right of rachael maddow. I don't care at all that Kaep is black or half black or whatever category he puts himself into for maximum victim status. The antics around the anthem were one thing, then when his SJW GF egged him on further, he wore those damned pig socks. He really shouldn't be surprised when his disrespect is met in kind by the people who buy tickets to the games. Leave it to limousine liberals to add race to the equation though, nice work. If the bills sign him, maybe you can buy the thousands of unsold seats that will result. -

metaphors not big in your native language? would explain a lot Oh, so as long as dissent is anti-american, it's actually pro-flag. I think im going to need a score card to keep track of all this sadbrained excuse making -

No, you see, because Jones doesn't wipe his azz with the American flag, he's not as good an option as the guy who does -

so he's a poor man's tyrod, with a shipping container worth of baggage, and that makes him a good fit? good God, I sure hope you don't do anything important for a living -

Um, no, it didn't "hurt my feelings", it was just an aggressive display of attention seeking behavior. If you're a parent, you've seen it before. If he's such a great QB, I have to wonder why there's exactly zero demand for his services in a QB starved league. I think you're probably the one who should face it, your hero is a crappy QB, and doesn't have the personality to make up for that. -

That's quite a posting gimmick you've worked out there, i bet it never gets tedious -

So because Kaepernick can't keep his dumb opinions to himself, or play QB in the NFL, the Bills must have him? That's your thesis? You're like a chicken who isn't smart enough to not stare up into the sky when it rains -

the first chance he gets he's do something attention seeking that will piss off the fans. what he brings to the table as a QB is outweighed by that. his antics will turn into a cancer on a team that can ill afford it. his GF is a major league SJW so how long do you think he's going to be able to keep his dumb opinions to himself? -
I've evolved to more or less the same position from the same starting point. Either OJ or either of the top WR picks do the same thing - give Tryhard another target. I think OJ does more than that now, and having watched him at Alabama, he was a leader on the field, the Bills could use a few more guys who expect to win, and who help get the most out of each player He made a ton of big plays, and played big in big games

Comparing FA replacements to Woods
dorquemada replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
sad to see this. really liked Woods, always put in a solid effort, just had the misfortune of being on the Keystone Kops for his whole career -
wow, 15-17, a better winning percentage as some other coach we know in his first NFL HC gig, at 36-44. you sure like to double down on the wrong, dont you? Hey, maybe the Bills should just keep doing what they're doing, i mean why not the results really do speak for themselves. Maybe I've overestimating your cognition. You know I'm talking about Belichick, right?
-
ha, yeah so you're having a hard time recognizing how shortbus your opinion is on this. it's ok. and if you think that Saban wouldn't get the most out of Dareus, you just really don't know anything about either of those men, or football and should go back to banning dancing or whatever else you do for fun
-
Right, everyone pisses and moans about Belichick and how hard he's owned the Bills for what, 15 years now, but the idea of a coach who is as successful at his level is BB is in NFL is terrible because... well im not sure because why exactly but it's very Buffalo Bills fan to think the Bills are a better team without Saban at the helm
