Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?dorquemada replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall So double top secret nobody will ever know. It’ll be the Da’Rick of offensive schemes

this thread is gold already "Billy, this is Landon Jackson. He was really good on a mediocre team and has intangibles, and looks like the Thenns from Game of Thrones. He may not contribute immediately, or ever, but he's so perfectly on brand for us I can't see us not taking him"

perhaps with a Papal blessing, shavers hands will work better. Then again, I'm not Catholic so hard to say
-
only quibble would be that this season, the Shakir pass is 3 yards behind the LOS and he gets hit and still somehow gets positive yards, alas, not enough for the 1st this is a brilliant offensive scheme

What Beane and McD have done to allen is criminal malpractice. They've taken a generational talent and tried to turn him into Brock Milquetoast Purdy. Why would you trade draft picks and make him the face of the franchise just to forge an identity of dink & dunk. Strait up boring football. If Beane had built even a C+ defense, it would be one thing but he consistently wastes draft picks on guys like Elam and Basham.

Ed Oliver bicep injury - likely out regular seasondorquemada replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall the thing is, they're going to have to sink or swim without him so not sure litigating at what point in the postseason he returns even matters

I've been a beer snob for, like, decades at this point but finally got sick of DOUBLE IPAs and everything else in that category ironically, perhaps, I grabbed a 6'er of genny pint cans at the local sadness mart a few weeks ago and you know what? they're pretty good! I remember in the mid 80s when there was one guy in our group with a solid sheriffs card and he would charge 25 cents a bottle for the genny pounders when he was buying for the group, and he'd net like 10 cents per based on consumers pricing at the time

you guys are making my beer taste bad

	hello, Federal Brother
-
guy catches what's thrown to him. Doesn't he have the highest catch rate in the NFL? or close to it? Might be best to start with basics with this group of WRs. Put Shakir, Jakobi, and Kincaid out in patterns, that's better that what we're doing rn. Throw gabe davis on the edge to stretch the field

I obviously grew up in luxurious privilege because my mother never allowed bologna in the house, only top end coldcuts from Federal on NFB I thought it was a treat when i'd have it at friends' houses lol

I'm glad. Davis' 40 time never scared anyone but he has game speed and uses his size to actually box out CBs and Safeties. Keon has not learned that yet. For whatever faults Davis has, he's played big in big games before for us.

If Brady can't come up with SOMETHING to let Allen play like at least a C+ QB, then it's better to know now semi related question, has any superbowl winning head coach ever muttered the words 'complementary football'? well, Grok says no, that's loser speak: No, there is no public record of any Super Bowl-winning head coach using the exact phrase "complementary football" meaning coordinated play across offense, defense, and special teams). This phrase appears frequently in NFL coaching interviews and analyses, but it's typically used by non-Super Bowl winners like Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn (Jan. 2025 press conference), Kentucky's Mark Stoops (2021), Clemson's Dabo Swinney (2025), and Wisconsin's Luke Fick (2024). Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur (Super Bowl XLV winner as offensive coordinator, but not head coach) has used it post-game in 2024.
-
I'll take that kind of lose situation
-
The worst case scenario is a loss where we look flat and Brady keeps Allen's balls in a jar on the sideline. What's even the point of that?
-
Can our D get off the field on 3rd down? giving the receivers a 15 yard pad isn't going to get it done, they'll defeat us in detail. I know that's a fundamental part of McD's defensive philosophy but KC has figured it out

Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?dorquemada replied to henry jones's topic in The Stadium Wall Mostly I admire what the Chiefs have built, from FO to coaching to roster. having said that, I cant stand Kelce. Every 3 yard reception he makes he acts like he caught a hail mary to win the superbowl

DT Mike Pennel is available / Bills Host DT’s for Tryoutdorquemada replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall Hmm, I don’t know? Can he run routes?

I feel like AJE continues to grow and improve. I wouldnt give him a huge next contract, and someone prob will, but i'd keep him if it was reasonable. Hell, he's got better hands and is faster than our WR1

My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!dorquemada replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall We could do worse than Gabe Davis. Like we are at the moment. Beane is just refusing to do it on principle because he's convinced his decision making is flawless. And if you dont believe it, just ask him
