  1. how much are we in for on Oliver?
  2. guy catches what's thrown to him. Doesn't he have the highest catch rate in the NFL? or close to it? Might be best to start with basics with this group of WRs. Put Shakir, Jakobi, and Kincaid out in patterns, that's better that what we're doing rn. Throw gabe davis on the edge to stretch the field
  3. I obviously grew up in luxurious privilege because my mother never allowed bologna in the house, only top end coldcuts from Federal on NFB I thought it was a treat when i'd have it at friends' houses lol
  4. I'm glad. Davis' 40 time never scared anyone but he has game speed and uses his size to actually box out CBs and Safeties. Keon has not learned that yet. For whatever faults Davis has, he's played big in big games before for us.
  5. If Brady can't come up with SOMETHING to let Allen play like at least a C+ QB, then it's better to know now semi related question, has any superbowl winning head coach ever muttered the words 'complementary football'? well, Grok says no, that's loser speak: No, there is no public record of any Super Bowl-winning head coach using the exact phrase "complementary football" meaning coordinated play across offense, defense, and special teams). This phrase appears frequently in NFL coaching interviews and analyses, but it's typically used by non-Super Bowl winners like Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn (Jan. 2025 press conference), Kentucky's Mark Stoops (2021), Clemson's Dabo Swinney (2025), and Wisconsin's Luke Fick (2024). Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur (Super Bowl XLV winner as offensive coordinator, but not head coach) has used it post-game in 2024.
  6. I'll take that kind of lose situation
  7. The worst case scenario is a loss where we look flat and Brady keeps Allen's balls in a jar on the sideline. What's even the point of that?
  8. Can our D get off the field on 3rd down? giving the receivers a 15 yard pad isn't going to get it done, they'll defeat us in detail. I know that's a fundamental part of McD's defensive philosophy but KC has figured it out
  9. Mostly I admire what the Chiefs have built, from FO to coaching to roster. having said that, I cant stand Kelce. Every 3 yard reception he makes he acts like he caught a hail mary to win the superbowl
  10. Beane, after the signing was announced: "that ought to hold the little bastards" puffs on comically oversized cigar
  11. Hmm, I don’t know? Can he run routes?
  12. I feel like AJE continues to grow and improve. I wouldnt give him a huge next contract, and someone prob will, but i'd keep him if it was reasonable. Hell, he's got better hands and is faster than our WR1
  13. We could do worse than Gabe Davis. Like we are at the moment. Beane is just refusing to do it on principle because he's convinced his decision making is flawless. And if you dont believe it, just ask him
  14. lmao. just write into his contract to wear steel toe boots around the horse
  15. I can hear the conversation "well, yeah, he's injured and likely wont play again this season. Yeah, he gets injured a lot, but he's REALLY GOOD when he's in!"
  16. the money he burns on fragile FA guys with low catch rates is going to be his epitaph
  17. I’d take Hollis back rn. He’d be WR2
  18. Hollins was the one guy who showed against KC and we let him walk.
  19. That's on the coach. He should have been pulled from that game
  20. Sometimes a return to mastering the basics is just what the doctor ordered
  21. being dogs at home should provide a little extra motivation. here's hoping Josh gets what he needs this week to be his usual self against KC. Hairstons arrival is not a minute too early.
  22. wore my old #34 jersey last couple games, put #17 on yesterday. Sorry Thurman, you cost us 2 games you can ride the pine for a while
  23. Huge bummer. Fan of him since seeing him in a bowl game last year, and was doing great on my fantasy team. Hoping he can recover!
  24. OK i tried to make an AI image but failed miserably. Here's the prompt so you can use your imagination "Create an image of a tired looking middle aged man eating a buffalo bills baseball cap, but he is happy to be eating said cap"
