Joe B article - Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, Gabe Davis

We could have prime Tyreek Hill and if the Offensive scheme eschews the forward pass it wouldn't matter Brady's got to go.- 93 replies

Any time a team plays as unevenly as the Bills are this season, particularly over the last 5 games, it's coaching. Better coaches would be managing Allen, not letting him sad sack around on the bench. Letting Brady continue to call plays is professional malpractice and our defense looks like a matador holding a cape
-
Agreed. They've got to gut the roster again, offload all of the ridiculous contracts for C players, eat the dead cap AGAIN, and restock while Allen has something left in the tank. I'd fully understand if Allen doesn't want to hang around for that though because Beane is objectively terrible at both the draft and FA with a small number of notable exceptions.

lol. Hindsight says no! I don't have a good answer. 9.5 is a HUGE spread for a divisional rivalry in the NFL. So, no.

Battle for the Division: Bill and Pats remaining games poll.
dorquemada replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see a single game I'd bet the Bills on. Jets maybe? Who wins a game where both teams are running for the bus? Queue up the Yakkety Sax! -
That was a mirage. Sorry to say it but they've now dropped 3 of their last 5 and looked extremely mediocre or worse in each of the 3 losses. Beane's fundamental mishandling of the roster, and McD/Brady/Babich inability to have the team prepared for games they should absolutely win are all bearing their inevitable results.
-
McD has lost the team, that's a bunch of dudes going through the motion. They got absolutely wrecked by a bottom feeding Miami team that's in freefall, in a game the Bills needed to win to keep the Pats within reach. I'm a huge Allen fan, but if he's read the tea leaves and doesn't see success, I just don't think this version of Josh is going to try to will the team across the finish line. I expect a lot of frowny faces and barf emoticons, but that was the worst effort I've seen from the Bills in a very very long time. Best case is they all went out and got completely hammered on saturday night and were puking their guts out at gametime, but I don't think that's what happened here

So is Landon Jackson done for the year?
dorquemada replied to billsfan714's topic in The Stadium Wall
we hardly knew ye -
Lol yup. We'll already be eliminated from the playoffs but we'll drop 60 on the Jets and look like superstars. Keon will go 13 catches for 200 yards and 3 TDs.

T.J. Sanders to return to practice this week from IR
dorquemada replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hope he gets back soon. God knows we’ll lose somebody else by then anyways. I’ve never seen such a poorly conditioned version of the Bills before. -
The issue being that Beane continues to give over market contracts to C+/B- players that we're then saddled with for years. His drafts are bad for 2 reasons. He's hyperfixated on D, and the players he drafts on D aren't making an impact. Make it make sense

4th and 1: fake tush push into pass play
dorquemada replied to SunDSolar's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah it works against us. it's because our coaching staff are trash and they have zero game day presence -
Were We Running Into a Stacked Box?
dorquemada replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every team is going to put 9 on the line against us. It's easy money, and Brady/McD have no answer, especially with our only downfield (defined as 5-15 yards) threat is out again for who knows how long -
Like I said earlier, I am wondering if Allen is injured. His throwing motion looks... pained? Not sure how to say it. I'd consider letting him sit for a game to heal up because the way he's getting the crap beat out of him a small injury could turn into a big one, quick. And truthfully, given Brady's offensive scheme, MT can throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage with the occasional sideline fade to coleman as well as allen. Not like we're a QB-centric offense
-
In McD's universe, one does not use the passing game to set the running game under any circumstances. The gentlemanly thing to do is to only use passes that are defended the same as runs so as not to cause confusion or mismatches for the opposing defense. It's simply unthinable.

Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)
dorquemada replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's not count on seeing him again any time soon. Him, Oliver, Milano, Palmer, etc etc etc. It seems like any minor injury on this team turns into months long lingering problems. Whatever, let the guy sit and call up Gabe Davis. We have by far the worst WR room in the league, a direct indictment on Beane, again. I've got an idea that the players are dragging their own injuries out bc McD has lost the team and they want to make graceful exits in the offseason without career threatening injuries. It's written all over Allen's face. -
Cardinal directions only! None of this direction mixing in this family!

Is there an NFL rule that Shakir isn't allowed to run a slant route? The focal point of our passing attack would ideally be downfield from the line of scrimmage

Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)

He's injured a lot. maybe undersized is the wrong word then. How about fragile? -

Brady is in love with his own brilliance. There's no amount of objective evidence that will change his brilliant schemes. To paraphrase Naomi Klein, Brady's scheme cannot fail, it can only be failed -

Him and Oliver are pretty much the epitome of the players Beane targets. High skill, oft injured, undersized. It's objectively a failed draft philosophy. -
It's bad coaching but it's also fragile players. Are we going to be able to field 11 on D next week?
-
Eh, panic doesn't solve anything but I take issue with the notion that the Bills turn it on for the playoffs. Most of this run we've played poorly in the majority of our wins in the playoffs with a couple notable exception like the NE revenge game. Our coaching staff is always smaller than the moment and we've gotten by on lucky bounces of the ball and Allen heroics. Keep the same staff, nothing changes
