  1. I see you're struggling with comprehension of an extremely simple concept. Go on and list the stats of other WRs available right now. Or is it your contention that our WR room is currently optimized?
  2. I get the gimmick, but the notion that piss poor play in the preseason doesn't mean anything is obviously false or McD would be perfectly happy with the roster he has.
  3. After you said, and I quote "hes awful barely an nfl talent" I pointed out that right now, the bottom half of our WR roster do not have the confidence of the coaching staff who watch them every day. In order to remedy that, other WRs are being brought in to asses their viability to replace one or more of the currently rostered WRs. You may feel that Gabe David is "awful, barely an nfl talent" but others feel that he might be the best choice at this time, given who else is available. Im wondering perhaps if you can have someone around you help you understand this, maybe with simple images rather than words.
  4. What does that say about the rest of the WRs outside the top 3 on our roster that the Bills FO are considering him? You people act like there's a bunch of perennial all pro WRs just sitting at home on the couch waiting for a call. This isn't madden.
  5. Apparently McD is concerned based on the performance in the preseason. who knew?
  6. Pathetic? You listed our entire WR roster. You realize nobody is talking about Davis as the #1? Perhaps your lack of reading comprehension prevents this.
  7. Because he's familiar with Allen and at least as good as the other options, which you oddly refuse to name? I guess you can just call up 1986 Jerry Rice and have him come in?
  8. After his brief NFL stint, he's been blowing it up in latex sales, importing and exporting
  9. We wont draft any, and when we do it's..um, sub-optimal. But hey next year it'll be 4 safeties and a bunch of tweener DL. Doubtless there will be several injured C+ WRs in FA that we'll bring in
  10. Yes, I believe he would be the 4 or 5. Given that, who is a better choice?
  11. I didn't say who should be starting, i said given the lack of faith in the existing room, what scrap heap WR is a better fit than Davis? lol, i was thinking the same thing. I mean he can flail around 5 yards behind the play just as well as bishop
  12. Who should the Bills be talking to rather than Davis?
  13. So why do you think the Bills are talking to him? Rather obviously McD and Beane think the WR room is inadequate to the point that Davis is a viable option. I mean, most of us here have been saying the WR room was lousy for months.
  14. Fair. We know he's capable of having big games though. Like I said, as long as he's not the #2, which God help us if he is.
  15. Preseason, the magical time when Jimmy Spags and his beloved j e t s are on equal footing with the Bills. A fleeting time, ephemeral, really
  16. Also, the Bills just don't have a lot of physical, aggressive guys at the skill positions. We're big on finesse. Davis is a blocking machine and brings a little bit of nastiness that we seem too polite to broker otherwise
  17. Theoretically he wouldn't be the #2 guy and would be used somewhat differently, more like Mack Hollins was last year, who, coincidentally, showed up for the KC game. Not sure who in the current WR room besides shakir are going to do that.
  18. No. Next draft will be all safety and DL. We'll pick up some scrap heap WRs in FA that everyone will lose their minds over in the offseason only to see in preseason games why they were on the scrap heap
  19. The Bills need more players who play big in big games. That's Gabe Davis. There's zero reason not to do this
  20. Between some of the guys appearing to just go through the motions, and some other flailing desperately about but being completely physically outclassed, yeah, that was tough to watch.
  21. Yeah i mean AFCC game they gave up 32 points, but the memories of the ravens game can keep us all warm at night
  22. jimmy spags kicking us in the nuts when we're down, perfectly on brand
  23. It would seem that we'll be an all D draft next year too, we'll need a couple safeties and probably some more DL. At what point does this become success limiting?
  24. His defenses have always lacked the killer instinct, and can't seem to make the big plays in the biggest games. Being bailed out constantly by the Offense has become the hallmark of the McD defense. Agreed that the Baltimore game is going to tell us a great deal about the season.
  25. Its a really unsatisfying D to watch
