Absolute monster in college but so was Aaaaaarrrrrron Maybin. I watched him in the SEC and convinced myself he would be great in the NFL, and who knows maybe he will be but early returns looks like another project
Defense looks undisciplined And poorly schemed. No we meant to not cover their WR1 over the deep middle, we're trying to lull them into a sense of complacency THEN we'll cover him! They don't know what hit em!
I think some fans fear (which I share!) is that the Bills become susceptible to mediocre teams that can play 60 minutes of football and minimize mistakes because the Bills are in an annoying habit of taking the middle half of the game off. On top of that there was just so much sloppy undisciplined play. 30 points and a win are both great! But we don't get to play Spencer Rattler every week. The Pats are capable of putting a good game together and should not be taken lightly. If we start hot, let's not get cute and start calling dumb plays.
Watching the Alabama/Georgia game on Saturday was a little like this too - Alabama had to burn timeouts bc they couldnt get the play in properly. I'll give them a little more slack because it was absolutely deafening there. DeBoer is similar to McD though, often struggling with seemingly basic concepts like clock management and getting plays in.
I'm a rare/very casual gambler, but tuned into how they set these lines and hate anything over a single score spread
Maybe but they'll take full clock on each play so a single drive like that's going to be a 10 minute endeavor
I just texted my son that the -16.5 spread is ridiculous and I'd consider putting action on the Saints because once McD is up 2 scores it's going to be a punishing 3TE run formation the rest of the game
