  1. I'd literally take RJ at this point yeah, there, I said it, RJ > TT, and I don't mean 15 years ago RJ, I mean, the guy who is working the paint aisle at home depot somewhere in Cali right now
  2. Agreed 100%. Remember what Indy did in Manning's first year, kept full protect on, simple O, and let him learn and grow. Bills OL is much better than Indy's was, and Bills have a legit running game to compliment. TT isn't the answer, and is only going to break our hearts and waste our time. Unless the Bills can land a legit FA QB (not a chance) then this is the way to go. Having said that, we're all Bills fans here, and we know exactly what's going to happen. Rexy gets another year so him and his oompa loompa brother can continue to make a small fortune out of a large one, TT will keep the reigns, because Rex has tried nothing and is all out of ideas, and the Bills will struggle to get to... oh say, 8-8 or so. Real rebuilding is still another year off. It's frustrating, but the good news is i've not watched a game in realtime in 7 weeks now because of various other obligations. I was sitting at dinner on Sunday after my son had a fundraiser activity for his school at the mall, and saw a score alert on my phone where Oakland had taken the lead. Knowing 100% how this was going to end, I accessed my DVR from my phone (yaah Directv!) and stopped the recording, then deleted the game, thus saving myself any further anguish. We came home Sunday night and instead of watching the game, we played Settlers of Catan, and my wife and I split a nice bottle of Red from my latest batch.
  3. Bills can't beat a winning team, full stop
  4. Bill Belichick was 36-44 before he came to NE. Hell, Rexy went to the AFCC. Are you implying that Buffalo is a talented, well run team? I think the burden of evidence is on you, not me
  5. Im not sure I implied that Alabama would beat any NFL team, i highly doubt that any college team could do that. MY point was and is that Alabama is a well run organization, Buffalo is not. Buffalo, as a team, has zero heart. They're not overcoming even the slightest hurdle.
  6. I dont think we have a championship mix of players in any event, even if we had a better QB. Putting it another way, since Rexy's going to be coach next year still, there's no player or players we could add to this roster to make them competitive with the Oaklands and New Englands of the conference.
  7. Just wanted to say... Thank God for the Crimson Tide. My wife and I both went to UA, met in 92 during that championship season. They are everything that our Bills arent, from a talent and coaching perspective. Watching them beat Florida like a red headed stepchild was great, and i'm not all that worried about Washington. OSU, on the other hand,
  8. This. EJ is maddening in his own way, but TT isn't the answer long term so let's not kill our ability to go get some FA players
  9. did you watch the game yesterday? For the Bills to win, they need to be spotted 30 points, then have the game only last 20 minutes Not sure if you've been paying attention this year, but nobody is considering the Bills winners right now. Remember how caremad we all were over the summer when the various prognosticators were picking the bills to finish 3rd or 4th in the AFCE? Huh, weird that, almost like a dispassionate analysis of the Bills roster and coaching staff would lead one to recognize that they are, in fact, losers, and thus in possession of a 'losers mentality'. Winners don't lose the way the bills did yesterday.
  10. All of the above. But maybe mortgaging the future on a guy that can't stay on the field wasn't the best idea in the world. "Bad Luck" just keeps happening to our poor bills!
  11. Tryod gets you somewhere between 7-9 and 9-7, which I guess is ok. As long as the games sell out, i'm not sure that there's going to be a change. We call this Brandonball. I'd prefer to see what we have in another QB, because I'd rather they bottom out and get a crack at a good qb then to keep this up, it's terrible
  12. What exactly has TT done that is supposed to convince us that he's indispensable? Has he beat a winning team yet? Has he head a come from behind victory? If anything, i bet he leads the league in games lost after leading
  13. Agreed, anyone who still believes that Tyrod Taylor is going to turn into a good NFL QB probably need to get back on their meds
  14. I agree with this - There's no way that Tryhard is a legit franchise QB. We're pretty sure that EJ isn't either, but if caretaker .500 QB is all we have right now then let's not pay TT all that money. I'm p.sure EJ can keep us at .500 for another year or two and let us draft QBs, and develop Caradalle, until we have a legit QB. I really wanted TT to be the man, but it seems like he's another in a long line of guys that wont get us any better than 9-7 and can't beat winning teams
  15. Yeah that looks like a guy interested in playing professional football
  16. It's true. I haven't watched a game for 3 weeks, or anything more than highlights the 2 before that, because I've had other things to do. Last Monday I was in vegas, so, easy, forget football. The week before was a wedding that was a good time, the week before that I was at the gun range. I'm not sure it's worth trying to work my schedule around the Bills any longer as they don't seem to have it in them to put forth a consistent effort, as individuals, or as a franchise. Maybe ignore the season and watch the highlights on youtube in February.
  17. Is that some sort of shot at his intelligence?
  18. Agree with this take 100%. Jones is a baller. They're doing with they should with him, and since we know the Bills are going nowhere fast this year, let the coaches take their time with him and do it right. I'd even keep him on the sideline next year - give him some preseason reps with the 2nd and maybe first team, but have whatever meatsack is ahead of him play the regular season. If the coaches think he's made enough progress, maybe start to play him late next year after the inevitable october swoon.
  19. the original Tivo box for directv was great for this because for each bump of the fast forward button, it would jump 30 seconds. hit it 4 times, and back to the game
  20. I think College football is already doing digital ads on the field. Watch Alabama/LSU this week, adn you'll see "New York Life" like it's painted on teh field, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that there aint no New York nothing on the field at Bryant Denny Stadium. It's not actually that intrusive because it looks like it's painted on the field. I mean, I'd prefer a little more of that if we could get rid of some of the commercials. Because of the decreasing quality of the product, and the general over-lawyered officiating that NFL games have become, they arent getting 3.5 hours out of me any more.
  21. your third bullet really is the historical norm, though it seems like the current regime is really married to rex and tryhard, so who knows, maybe we don't replace anyone and go on and lose out
  22. was that guy Bill Bellichek?
  23. No, no, he's perfect, he'll fit right in, Whaley, get on the horn
  24. Consistency hasn't been one of the defining attributes of our Buffalo Bills. We're going to get Schizophrenic the rest of the year
  25. If the queen had a pair of balls, she'd be king 10 is less likely than the democrats taking the House of Representatives
