    I dont know. At times, Oliver moved with violence and had to be accounted for, but it feels like that was at best a few plays a game, and the rest of the time he was getting blown up or a RB was blasting past him. He seems too small to play on the IDL

    If the only play the O is capable of running is "everyone run deep!" then yeah i guess stop spending draft/trade capital on RBs. The O scheme that my friends and I used to run playing pick up football when we were 9 years old had more wrinkles than what we've seen the last few games

    OTOH, the pats have a solid OL, good running game, and a serviceable QB who may have regressed this year at least in part because of the lack of an OC. Adding a good WR could open things up there. Adding a WR is a lot easier than fixing a whole OL, which is what the Bills are faced with

    Yeah Bills go from a cakewalk in AFCE to being no better than 50/50 to repeat If Rogers goes to NYJ, and Brady to Miami, the Bills are going to have to be better than they were this year. Tighter in all phases of the game

    Having an actual OC is going to help you guys a ton. Maybe a little more talent to catch the ball, and Pats will bounce back. I think it's a legit 4 way race in the AFCE next year. Bills should still be the favorite, but not by nearly as much as this year

    Gameplan against the 2022/3 Bengals with Joe Burrow and 4 guys who can catch the ball: Play 15 yards off LoS, give up a first down every play. Eventually, WRs get tired, THEN WE STRIKE!!!

    I mean, it's not like homefield made any difference. They can get whooped at KC or Cincy or Jax just as well as in OP The team was flat, I believe the term du jour is gassed. There's some valid reasons for it, but fact is Sunday's game looked like a classic run for the bus situation. I can't call out a single player that played well.

    OL has to be the focus. We hardly know what we have in any of the skill positions because every play is under desperate conditions because of the terrible OL

    OP is dumb obv, but his larger point isn't too far off. Dawkins is more celebrity/player than road grading OL. He's not been the same since he had covid and it just seems like his side of the line collapses immediately play after play. No wonder Allen regressed as the year went on, he's running for his life every play

    yeah especially when they line up 15 yards behind Josh and are getting hit 5 yards behind the line because of our turnstile OL

    are we still running a "bombs away!" offensive scheme? Will Borkley get more than 8 carries a game? Will Beane revisit his stubborn refusal to invest in the OL? If you answer yes to any of those questions than the answer is no, why bother? Chances are Beane drafts another can't miss prospect at DL. Probably undersized and high motor, if I had to guess

    He would have a big play or two, then disappear for games at a time. That role is adequately filled by Phillips. Go get a bigger guy who can hold his spot and maybe even collapse the pocket occasionally
