  1. I've said this before. The Bills D is a consistent performer but short on big plays. Chiefs D is pretty much the opposite, but get big plays in big moments
  2. you know him as a person? cool! i kind of knew Carwell Gardner.
  3. Henry has gotten better at receiving out of the backfield. He suffered from bad QB play in TN. Get him on a little swing out of the backfield with a full head of steam and watch some corner (RIP Josh Norman) try to stop him
  4. "I know, i'll start giving 2nd contracts to running backs! The league will never see it coming!"
  5. https://clipchamp.com/watch/4yfzvy9vOrV perhaps my favorite moment of the 2022 season in fact
  6. Paper's all we have to talk about right now
  7. So where is the line between 'got better' and 'significantly improved'? To me it's adding playmakers and better coaching, to declare a team significantly improved, and in my judgement, Miami has done that so far. If Ramsey makes a couple plays that the guy he's replacing didn't, Miami goes 2-1 against the Bills last year and we never get a chance to get smoked by Cincy. Or, if Fangio's D plays 10% better, and they win a couple more games in season. Don't fool yourself, they are going to be better. How hard they played us has significant bearing on this topic because how much better does Miami need to be to sweep us? 2 losses to the Bills by a total of 6 points isn't exactly domination by us, with net Buffalo +4 points separating us out of 166 points scored in three games.
  8. I guess we'll see. They played us pretty damn hard in Buffalo in January with their Z string QB. Things change fast in the NFL, and we shouldn't assume that because we have Josh Allen that we're just going to roll over everyone, particularly if the playcalling remains as anemic as it was the 2nd half of last season
  9. Perhaps you should restate your position on the Dolphins offseason so far. I'll make it easy on you, does adding Fangio & Ramsey make Miami (A) better, or (B) worse?
  10. Yes, adding an all pro CB to their D, which was already pretty good against us, along with Vic Fangio, is an improvement. Tell me you're not such a homer that you imagine that either of those things makes Miami worse
  11. or some high motor character guys who get eaten alive on game day
  12. That's a non-trivial loss for the Pats. It'll be interesting to see who they bring in to replace him. So far the Bills and Pats have pretty much stood still to somewhat backsliding. The Dolphins and Jets (assuming Rogers) have both, on paper, improved significantly. Let's hope the talent parity will get our coaching staff to recognize the situation and stop being cute
  13. Hurr Durr yeah I know. Im saying that signing him to a fully guaranteed contract was a huge friggin gamble
  14. Was occasionally electric at KR. Does this make lil drrty expendable?
  15. I'd be good with this, if for no other reason than to keep some goal line miles off #17
  16. Not sure he sucks, but without Von Miller or a Von Miller analogue drawing blockers, he's never going to be a game wrecker. I have close to zero faith in the current regime to draft well on the DL so the question becomes, if they don't sign/extend Oliver (and I think they wont), who amongst us think that they'll draft a competent replacement? They're completely in love with undersized high motor guys with Groot being an exception
  17. Yeah if someone offers a 3rd or 4th for Oliver you take it, but nothing less than that. I wouldnt expect it unless someone is desperate for DL help Getting Henry in some kind of package that involved Oliver would be the type of white collar crime that usually lands you in jail for decades
  18. Oh, in that case 2 comp picks for the Pats, one for the Bills
  19. and draft at least 3-4 of them too. CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH
  20. That's the issue. Does he go find an undersized/high motor IDL with that money instead? of course he does
  21. Agreed. I was firmly in the 'resign Edmunds no matter what' camp, but i've started to wonder what else we could do with the money. Edmunds is obviously a great talent, but I just don't think he's an impact player. Like with Star, I'm sick of hearing about all the things Edmunds does that don't show up on a stat sheet; that just doesn't pass the eye test when watching him play
  22. yeah anyone who doesn't see how adding Henry would make the Bills better should probably stop pretending to know anything about football he wouldnt have to carry the load here but it sure would be nice to have a guy that could grind it out in the 4th quarter and that had to be accounted for
  23. Side note here. When I watch highlight reels of other teams, particularly bad ones, it always seems like their mediocre or underachieving players always have season highlights against the Bills. This isn't new either, i feel like the Bills have been way over-represented in other teams highlights for years
  24. 11, but an early bloomer, like one of those dominican baseball players
