  1. Life after Buffalo, God help us
  2. That guy is absolutely murder on the defense
  3. I think they need to invest some more high draft picks in the DL
  4. Healthy family, happy we're working on. Counting my blessings, still a significant surplus of those vs curses also thankful we dont have to worry about a bye in the playoffs, what would i even do that weekend
  5. Lest we forget, the Glory Era team regularly was top 5 at rushing.
  6. And the argument could perhaps be made that if Buffalo was a strong running team, that playing in the snow would be a strength. As it stands, they're not built for playing in the snow AT ALL
  7. They're snakebit this year in terms of health. When is the last game they fielded the 22 from opening night, never mind Tre. I mean, never mind Tre in that we're not going to see him this year in any case
  8. so the 50/50 desperation passes will be...50/50?
  9. That implies something that doesnt look terribly likely right now maybe Bills should focus on stringing together a single win before we put them in the AFCC. The excuse generating algorithm is doing a lot of heavy lifting these last couple weeks around here
  10. Strait up, if he doesn't want to play, why waste a roster spot on him? Then in the offseason they can reassess the big picture at CB. They have some hard decisions around the salary cap coming up.
  11. Our Best OL should probably bring an ole cape out there to at least make his miserable failure slightly amusing
  12. If statistics determined outcomes, the Bills would have beat the Viking and prob the Dolphins too. Situation success determines outcomes, not abstract measurement. The Bills appear to have a dominating D if you look at the stats, but nobody who watches the games, at least over the last 6 weeks, think the Bills D is dominating anyone. The Dolphins have more than 1 guy who can catch the ball, and QB/OC willing to throw it to those other guys. That's what makes their O more dangerous than ours.
  13. Oh God is this where we are now? Contemplating cheering for Miami in the playoffs? point made though. If the Bills are imploding, and if they lose to Cleveland I think it's safe to say they're imploding and/or have imploded, it becomes who do we NOT want to see win, and obviously KC is at the top of that list
  14. Ah, right now the Bills look like frauds. Again, we went from being the toast of the league to a team that looks like one of like 15 teams in the NFL middle class. They're certainly capable of big wins, as long as the game isn't close, but don't have the consistency to be considered a reliable contender. gameday coaching is suspect, to put it charitably, and the injury list just keeps growing. Is anyone still talking about the Bills as a top 10 team?
  15. Yeah based on Coach's comments I'm not holding my breath on seeing White any time soon. Would we even want to put a guy back in the game whose head isn't in it? Probably better to roll with what we have. It creates another hole in the roster but he's an awfully expensive luxury if he's not going to see the field Could this be the distraction/controversy that is roiling the locker room?
  16. The Bills keep losing in the Billsiest ways possible. Cleveland, although not a good football team, have strength where we have weakness. The other factor is, are the Bills collapsing? I don't want to think that but it would be foolish to think it impossible. This is where I'm not sure McD has the will to do this. I guess they need to start with fundamental again, like, the C-QB snap.
  17. Bills are 0-3 ATS last 3 games. 9.5 points fav? I suppose if we're going to win the game that it'll be by double digit points since if not, we're probably losing strait up. Browns will slow the game down, maybe even score on a long drive. Josh immediately tries to force the ball downfield. Lather, rinse, repeat
  18. Yeah I get it, but either Allen is a top end QB who has the occasional clunker of a game (or 4 in a row!), or he's an above average QB who occasionally has a great game
  19. The book on Allen is now obvious, pressure with 4 against an anemic Bills OL, drop 7 into coverage. The Bills dont have a run game to counter, and outside of Diggs, no real receiving threat that forces a scheme change or required double coverage. The Bills get some big plays and may even jump out into a lead but can't sustain it by running down the clock. It's the big play O On the reverse side, the Browns have a great running game, and the Bills have yet to show the ability to contain that. The game plan seems pretty simple to me, if I'm the Browns.
  20. 4 games in a row now. If Green Bay wasn't a dumpster fire things might be even worse
  21. Maybe they put him on the cover of the Media Guide next year
  22. We have an all-pro injury roster that counts for something, right? conversation with grandkids 20 years from now: "Grandpa, where were you when the Bills had the best Injured Reserve in the whole NFL?"
  23. Great work as always Virgil. The above is a good point. As much as I hate to say it, one of those bad people over on Chiefs Planet pointed out that our victory over the Chiefs was bound to be the highlight of our season. Is it possible that the Bills were so focused on that game that they're just fading out now? If so that's 100% on coaching. In any case, the Bills went from being the talk of the league right back to the NFL middle class. They'll probably slip into the playoffs but they're not scaring anyone any more and will live or die with how Allen plays, which is not a formula for sustained success.
  24. It's becoming a theme with them, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Does any NFL team fear the Bills now? I'd think the opposite at this point, playing the Bills is a get well game for other teams.
  25. Yup. Maybe strait up worst OL in the league. Is Dawkins supposed to be good? All i've seen of him the last 3 games or so is being an example of how not to play OL
