  1. I'm a big fan of Hurts, and followed him closely since he started at Alabama. I think maybe he caught lightning in a bottle last year. He absolutely played well, but i'm not sure that's who he will be long term. Having said that, Philly did what they had to do here, and Hurts is certainly better than any other QBs that were realistic options for them
  2. Umm, if they can find another Matt Milano I'm all in. Chances are we get someone who is not Matt Milano though
  3. any player that has 'undersized' or 'high motor' in their profile If they're going to pick someone that's going to piss us all off (DL, CB, scat back) then they better be an absolute sure fire prospect and not a project in fact, no projects. day 1 starters only, at least in first 3 rounds
  4. I've been calling for an all CB draft for at least a decade, so sure this guy fits
  5. Yup, another middling guy with no real outstanding characteristics taken higher than he should have been but Beane loves him some DL regardless
  6. I think Maybin epitomizes the kind of thinking that haunts 1 Bills Drive. Undersized, mostly unhearalded, played in a good college program surrounded by good players against mostly inferior competition. It's a formula that just never delivers in the NFL
  7. I'd be very happy with this SEC centric draft! get beane on the horn, quick!
  8. Yeah i get your sputtering rage in a general sense but being mad about Shaq Lawson isn't it dude. He's been a very good player for the Bills, and you certainly aren't going to get an upgrade for what he's making
  9. Also, Dyngus day for those who celebrate!
  10. That in and of itself is enough to stop with the 20/20 vision into the past, but if you look at WHO was taken before josh allen it becomes particularly lol worthy I say that with total self deprecation because i was a wrong josh guy and thought borker mayfield was going to be great
  11. Not to pat myself on the back, but I do know a thing or two about old, slow, and injury prone
  12. lol, but yeah, Beane is going to have to resist the urge to overdraft undersize DL and 5 CBs
  13. Is zoot suit city still there? I think i have a new celebrity spokesman for them!
  14. Good point, somebody call Bruce and REggie, stat!
  15. Give me the oldest, slowest, most injury prone guy you got
  16. I'm holding out for "It's hard to win in the NFL"
  17. Hitting a QB behind the LoS is positively unsportsmanlike! We certainly won't have that here!
  18. Yeah i expect you're right. my expectations for this draft are really low. I'm assuming whomever the best CB at pick 27 is pretty much a lock, then a series of middling DL players in the next few rounds. Maybe a sex pest special teamer late
  19. Ah, the old let them wear themselves out getting first downs, then we'll have them! defense
  20. We'll see. I just hope it's more aggressive. Even if it results in a worse statistical outcome. We've had a top ranked D for several years now that couldn't stop anyone when it counted most. I'll gladly give up more points in the regular season if we see more big/game changing plays from the D. Mostly I never want to see a soft zone again as long as I live
  21. That was my impression too. Once he got situated I thought he played well, and if the choice is sign Klein and draft OL vs having to draft a MLB high, then i'd def take the former
  22. to wit; Cody Ford was excellent in college
  23. Sanders would make a difference on this D. He'd prob give up some big plays too but guy is always around the ball and he hits like a hammer
  24. man alive i'd love to get Judon in a Bills uni
  25. Yeah this would have been great
