  1. Agree. This team should be better than 6-10.
  2. Very simple. If you believe that the current coaching staff is preaching and deploying a winning style of offense, defense and special teams and if you think they game plan effectively from week to week and make good game day decisions all while motivating the players, then you might support the return of this head coach. You could then believe that more player experience and more player talent would lead to more victories. You might then believe that this coach is capable of leading a team to playoff victories, something he has never done in his coaching career. I don't believe Jauron is doing this or is capable of ever doing this. Therefore, I support replacing the head coach. While that may not deliver better results in '09 than with DJ at the helm, I do believe that a better coach can deliver more wins over the longer term (2 years or more).
  3. Proof that Jauron reads the boards.
  4. Actually I agree with him. When you play for a Jauron coached team, getting to the pro bowl is the best that you can expect.
  5. Dick Jauron coached teams are always 6-8 plays from having a much better record.
  6. He deserves a chance to go somewhere else and he's getting that.
  7. We don't need to be experts to evaluate a coach. Look a the results. Nothing else matters. Coaches get hired, paid, fired and voted into the hall of fame based on their results.
  8. Jauron had the respect of his players in Chicago too.
  9. Trent and most of the Bills players have no idea what a good NFL coach is like.
  10. All of them. He reigns over the design of the offense and defense, the personnel, the game plans and the crucial in-game decisions. He also get all of the credit for the 20 wins he has generated in 3 seasons.
  11. As I have said for almost a year, JP is in by far the best position of the Bills 3 QBs. The other 2 can be saved with a new HC.
  12. If Jauron is still at he helm, expect DBs to be taken early and often.
  13. I've watched that play 20 times. I think every QB in the NFL gets sacked on that play and a good number of them fumble too.
  14. In a strange way this play could save Jauron's butt (although I hope not). Wilson might look at all that went wrong on that play and conclude that at least 3 players made big mistakes on that play. This would support Wilson's argument that "talent" is the issue. Again, hope not but you never know.
  15. You forgot to mention the holiday bonus checks that Peters mailed to opposing coaches and defensive ends.
  16. Now you're talkin'
  17. That looks like an improvement over what we have now.
  18. Brilliant!
  19. If true, that's awful.
  20. I disagree. There's nothing wrong with publically stating what went wrong on a play and how a player should have played it. It's a breath of fresh air compared to all the politically correct answers that we usually get. Jauron said it was a bad call, JP said he should have thrown it away and Turk pointed out what the QB is supposed to do. Sounds to me like everyone has called a spade a spade here. It is what it is and the Bills are 6-8.
  21. You can make a case that it was a good call. Surely the Jets were expecting a run, but everything went wrong. Some coaches have a knack for making the unexpected call at the right time. Others don't. For whatever reason, the conbination of these Bills players and this coaching staff does not win. Like a bad recipe that needs to be changed.
  22. Give them a roll of duct tape.
