  1. Scary. What do we know about Hamden? Even the coaches have never seen him in a live game (pre-season excluded). However, if the current coach is in place, it won't matter who plays any position.
  2. Yes. Hopefully Jauron's extension is contingent on a playoff birth and he's hanging by the shred of hope they can make it. Hopefully for the Bills he fails and can move on without him next year.
  3. Yes, and this would also mean that Matt Cassell is an elite QB.
  4. Could be. Without question, Jauron is the most consistent 7 win coach in the NFL.
  5. Some that came to mind.... Mr. Bill Mr. Rogers Mr. Green Jeans Kaptain Kangaroo Barry Manilow Robin Richard Simmons
  6. When you're 90, you need to be in a hurry. Jauron is not in a hurry.
  7. Yes. The sum of the Bills parts is better than what we're seeing. Get a new coach now while there is still time to develop the younger players. Another year of this staff will inflict more damage on this team.
  8. Go shopping, stimulate the economy.
  9. He said that to deflect attention from the real worst decision of all time which was the hiring of Jauron.
  10. Agree, and it could help the team stay in Buffalo. If Ralph were a bigger spender and didn't do the Toronto deal, the Bills would have a very thin bottom line. Asking a buyer to invest $800 billion or more in something that doesn't make money in a limited market is tough. It might compel a buyer to move the team to a larger market. With the Bills being profitable in Buffalo, it's more likely that the team will stay particularly if the new buyer can negotiate some incentives with state and local governments which might include tax incentives and funding for a new stadium.
  11. That's hot stuff. Good for Ford, and they really need a winner.
  12. I would expect Stroud to be double often regardless of his linemates. Isn't that what teams do to the largest D-tackle?
  13. Jauron wants Reggie Corner as his starting at QB
  14. Yes, bring him on. Write the check, raise ticket prices, send Jauron to the library. Eat matches, shyt fire!!!!!
  15. They'll play better than the past couple weeks but will lose.
  16. For every ticket purchased, the Bills will donate $5 to the Peace Corps. The money will support Dick Jauron on his lifetime assignment in Bangladesh where Dick is acting as an NFL ambassador teaching the game of American Football to boys throughout the country.
  17. I'd take my chances that a better coach than DJ could be hired. Looks like a good bet to me, but you'd have to be willing to compete in the hiring process. There will be a lot of coaches hired this off season.
  18. That's a risky proposition. You're betting that DJ can develop young talent into a winner before they all get to free agency. Who's willing to make that bet? Maybe Ralph. I doubt he will. I really believe that at 6-10 or 7-9 he makes a change. At that point Jauron will have done nothing to justify another year IMO.
  19. Can we get the mods to pin this thread? We're gonna need a "fire Jauron" thread, but only 1. Pin this one and we're good to go.
  20. Jauron is the coach. There is zero chance the Bills go to the playoffs. Zero.
  21. Yes, I'm looking forward to the off-season as well. Getting this one over will be a big plus. Have a trip planned for Sunday. Won't be able to watch the game. First game I have blown off (not watched or attended) (except for a few obligatory conflicts) in over 20 years.
  22. I don't think the QB matters. The opposition is better and Jauron can't lead the team to beat a decent team. Never has, never will. It's over. Ralph will be forced to can him at the end of the year after the total collapse is complete. There won't be any results in 3 years under this guy to justify another year. The Bills are in a decent position cap-wise, have some good young talent so cleaning up the mess shouldn't be too bad.
  23. That's devotion. Good for you. I had season tickets from '88 - '94. Moved to Chicago after that. There were many times when I stood in the stadium during those years, looked around and thought - WOW. This is a special team and we are so lucky as fans to have a team like this. It was an amazing thrill, even with the Superbowl losses. That's a big problem now. That team is a very tough act to follow even after 15 years. Ralph has a huge problem on his hands. I think this team has some competitive, exciting and extroverted personalities, but we're not seeing any of that. In a tough economy and with a continued bland team that doesn't win, I think season ticket sales will significantly drop.
  24. I don't think Hamden sees the field while Dickie boy tries to save his own ass. Jauron, after he's done cursing at JP while watching last Sunday's film, will be on his knees begging JP for a good game this week if JP has to start.
