  1. Why would anyone disagree? Belichick could show up with any NFL team and beat Jauron tomorrow.
  2. He'll be on a roster next year. QB talent in the NFL is thin and also because 31 other teams realize he's been in a bad offensive program led by bad coaching.
  3. He doesn't have much risk in losing too many good players because of haggling. Ralph himself said the Bills don't have much talent.
  4. As much as I wish you are wrong, you are probably right. Dammit!
  5. I think he can get this team to 7-9 next year.
  6. Bad news for those that want Jauron replaced. Usually it's a vote of confidence from the owner that leads to the firing of the coach. To me, Ralph's quote is his way of saying to the fans that he's not happy with the season and that he's looking at the situation when really he plans to keep the coach.
  7. Belichick looks to be doing pretty well this year without Brady. Last I looked the Patriots were above the Bills in the standings this year.
  8. Here comes all of the rationalization to keep Jauron. There will be just enough reasons to retain him for next year, only to fire him then.
  9. Whatever. Dick is not a playoff winning head coach.
  10. Have it your way. Just no reason to support this coach into the future. No reason to believe he will ever win a playoff game as a head coach. You want to prolong the agony, fine. I wish for him to move on so the Bills can get busy building a winner.
  11. The Broncos screwed up the game and have a bad defense. Lose Jauron or lose fans. Keep Jauron and lose winnable games.
  12. If I do walk through that door, I won't be worried about the door hitting me.
  13. A very unfortunate win. Anything that helps DJ keep his spot with the team is bad. I was truly unhappy they won. First time in 35 years of following this team I felt that way after a win.
  14. The rare exceptions are teams coached by Jauron.
  15. Agree. Unfortunately, the win today against a bad Broncos defense might give DJ that little boost he needed with the front office.
  16. Zero chance for Wade. Very bad blood between him and Ralph.
  17. Well said. Frankly, if I were a player, I might prefer to be In JPs shoes now compared to Edwards who may be forced to play again for a hopeless head coach.
  18. Seems like a waste of money to pay Peters the big bucks only to have him play in a DJ offense.
  19. After looking at the play over and over, It's Jason Peters that looks to be the fool. That is if you eliminate Jauron from contention.
  20. He and Donahoe are buddies.
  21. Agree. He had an opportunity this year to show better than he did. That'll cost him.
  22. He's gone. As bad as the front office may not want to do it, when you strip away the feelings, he doesn't win. I expect him to be fired.
  23. We have the Chicago Bears to blame. Had they not given Jauron a chance to be a head coach, he would never have been hired in Buffalo. Jauron was not the Bears first choice when hired. Nice goin' Bears.
  24. Why prolong the agony? He'll simply be fired at the end of '09 if he coaches another year. He has his hand picked offensive coordinator this year, some fresh talent and fewer injuries than last year. Many of the younger players have another year of experience compared to last year. He's had another off-season to instill his program on these players. With some luck he'll be able to equal his 7-9 mark last year. More likely he drops to 6-10. Given all of this, how can anyone conclude that his program is making progress? Frankly, his tenure in Buffalo is close to a disaster. Why waste another year developing the young players in his program? I don't see a shred of evidence that he is succeeding or that he can succeed. Frankly, I'd be shocked if he returned as the head coach. I'd only support Dick for 1 more year if it meant getting Cowher out of retirement.
