  1. You think Jauron has that thing turned on? He's just covering his ears with the headphones so that he doesn't have to listen to anyone questioning what he's doing. At best he's got some classical music playing during the game. Ever see him speaking into the mic? i didn't think so. His lips are sealed.
  2. Trent's underpaid. Even a good backup is worth a million of more and he's at least that. I would expect his agent to try and get something done this off-season. Being injury prone, Trent is taking a lot of risk on every snap at his low rate of pay. Even worse than that is the risk he is taking playing for Jauron. That alone will reduce his free agent value in a couple years.
  3. Jauron tops the list of overpaid people. He should be writing a check to the Bills.
  4. Perhaps Jauron will win the lottery and retire.
  5. 7 first round picks and new coach will turn this program around.
  6. Camp fodder or maybe the Coybows coaches turn him into a good player. Either is possible. Buffalo ain't no yardstick for performance.
  7. This thread could well be a rational reason why Wilson has retained DJ. Wilson keeping him because he believes DJ can produce a winner is completely irrational.
  8. A lot of truth to this. Goes to coaches as well. Jauron while with the Bills and Bears has hired coordinators with no previous experience as coordinators. He doesn't want to be challenged by anyone. He can't handle it. He avoids anything that might be confrontational in the least. Kumbaya.
  9. The Bills' off-season has become the most enjoyable part of the year.
  10. Hey, sometimes 4 wheels and a steering wheel is all you need.
  11. I blame Jauron for the whole team's suckiness. Jauron is good at sucking and Marv said he was a good teacher. Therefore, Jauron is good at teaching people how to suck. Jauron could probably make more money as a "suck expert" than as an NFL coach. His leaving would be a win-win.
  12. Edwards is absolutely in the same boat as JP. With Captain Dick Jauron as coach. Trent's career is in neutral until he or Jauron leaves the Bills.
  13. Funniest post of the new year! Anyone think Jauron would part with a single DB? No way, he'll probably draft a couple more this April.
  14. Hey, would you waste more money on player's salaries with this coaching staff?
  15. Maybe the 3 coordinators run the show. Jauron just takes attendance.
  16. "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten". Anthony Robbins
  17. The difference there is that Whisenhunt may have actually said something to his players. Jauron would just exert more pressure on his closed lips while looking straight ahead and not blinking.
  18. Jauron has a sickness when it comes to DBs. He probably wishes that we elected one for President.
  19. Not true. Money talks and that is all that matters to most players and agents.
  20. Oh my. How can you compare the approach Reagan took to what Obama plans to do? They are oceans or even planets apart. Like Robin Hood vs Barry Goldwater. With all the dumb decisions being made in Washington now, looks to me like the new football owner is trying to capitalize on the stupidity of congress.
  21. He's setting the tone. It's a good start.
  22. Have to disagree. The head coach sets the tone. He can set it how he wants. He impacts the teams attitude which is a huge factor in performance. Attitude affects desire. Certainly a hard tone can have a negative effect, but a soft tone can as well. Anyone notice that Vernon Davis performed better after Singletary sent him to the showers? Would DJ have gotten the same results from that player dealing with the problem in a more gentlemanly way? Players that don't respond to "hard" coaching might be a bigger problem than a "hard" coach.
  23. The problem is that any change in personnel is another reminder that Jauron is still the head coach. No news is good news.
