  1. I actually did a bit of painting during a recent game.
  2. Right and if you believe that the current scheme is a loser you gotta bring in another guy.
  3. Maybe the Jets front office has figured out that their improved record this year is more a result of improved player talent and they realize that longer term they need to upgrade the coach if they intend to compete for a championship.
  4. Thinking really hard with my best marketing hat on, I could not come up with anything.
  5. Brilliant. I'm sure he'll do exactly that. Welcome to the real world where companies exist for the purpose or maximizing profit. When you figure that out and then figure out how to help your employer (if you're employed) meet those goals, you too can succeed. Otherwise, go find a job working in the government. There you'll have a better chance of hiding for years.
  6. How the hell do you know? You don't think in these times that some sources of revenue are down? Even if it's "bull crap" as you say, what's wrong with reducing costs if you can improve the bottom line and still operate as needed?
  7. A worthy cause and meeting some former Sabres is a plus.
  8. Remember when Fassel and the Giants were about 4-6 and Fassel stood in front of the media and said "this team is going to the playoffs". Risky call, but they did it. Guy had some balls.
  9. Screw it. deferring is just more evidence of Jauron playing cautious. You have to score to win in the NFL. Stats show that the team that scores first wins more often. Why the fukk would you ever defer? You game plan all week to score. Take the ball and get going. You have a better chance of getting an extra possession in the first half if you take the ball at the beginning of the game which gives you a better chance to have the lead or a larger lead at halftime which puts pressure on the opposition. Jauron stated weeks ago that weather is a factor in the decision. He's full of shyt. Weather was pretty good indoors last week. Fire this idiot.
  10. Reggie corner getting a look ar QB this week.
  11. Familiar territory
  12. A pass play that you run there is throwing to a receiver who lines up in the slot, runs 3-4 yards upfield, turns right and runs parallel to the goal line (just inside the end zone). You throw it to his outside. Not a tough throw and the receiver's body shields the ball from the defender. Teams run that play all the time. Very difficult to stop it. Personally, from the 3 yard line, you line up with 2 backs and run it.
  13. Great. If they signed to an extension on the cheap, then launching him won't be so painful.
  14. Yup. Calling a fade to a 5-10 guy is a little suspect. The absence of a running game is the biggest problem IMO. Lynch just needs a little crease and he can do it from there. There has to be something in the design of the running game that is lacking. Most often Lynch has nowhere to go and a few times yesterday while running out of the shotgun, defenders made tackles while unblocked or nearly unblocked. Something doesn't add up.
  15. Bills need a whipping boy right now. If Jauron isn't canned, then OJ has to be it. Take him off the wall.
  16. What bargaining chip would Jauron have even after 4-0? Either he signs an extension with the Bills or he can walk. Does he stike anyone as a guy who would walk or a coach that anyone else would hire? We can only hope that the Bills were shrewd enough to put a conditional deal in front of him since it was early in the season and Jauron had established little or no track record of success.
  17. Too much of a good thing can be too much.
  18. There are only 5 words necessary to describe what the Bills need to do to improve. "Hire a new head coach" Nothing else needs to be said. The fans know it, the players know it, the front office knows it and Ralph know's it.
  19. Say what you want about how JP played yesterday, but he is one of the few guys who shows some damned emotion on this team. The Bills have become the "Barney team" of the NFL. I love you, you love me. Give me the bickering Bills with guys like Darryl Talley getting on everybody's case.
  20. He's gotta go. Period. Too much risk in waiting another year to develop the young talent the Bills have. Plus you have to believe the fans will force the issue. Jauron is on his way out. Getting a vote of confidence from the owner in troubled times is usually the first step in the replacement process. For whatever reason, these coaches and these players are not a winning combination. Winning is the bottom line.
  21. By selling the team.
  22. And a new coaching staff............
  23. You have to put some responsibility on the coaching staff to develop these young players. Could it be that these coaches are not good at developing talent? You could find a lot of evidence to support that.
  24. The Bills need 3 good coaches to replace Dick, Turk and Perry. Get those 3 and they're in much better shape.
