  1. I have not logged in for a decade, and I am pretty disappointed he's gone.
  2. I can't believe someone actually played.
  3. Good point, haha. I have to respectfully disagree with this one. I think its impossible for either of us to speculate too much as to how our line will look come game day. We have admittedly been running a fairly vanilla defense in the pre-season, and having gone to a 4-3 in the Detroit game, its obvious we're being mysterious with it. That being said, I'm not sure how I stand on our D-Line pressure. Personally, I believe that the player who stands the best chance to get constant QB pressure is going to be John McCargo, its just a matter of getting him on the field. I like Stroud at the end, but I'm going to have to say that he is going to be in there to fill up some holes in the run game on the outside moreso than he will be in there to get pressure on the QB. I know we're not looking for sacks with our D-Line, but two of the three starters have a bad track record against the run, and it sounds to me more and more that we'll be playing some 4-3.
  4. You guys are laughing at the wrong part. It says we have the better DL.
  5. I clicked on your link... someone had this to post: Even if that guy is all alone (which he is not, I read a few others who shared his opinion), they actually seem way more down to earth and realistic in their posts than we have.
  6. I don't get it. Why do you feel the need to let us know you told the guy who wrote this article that some message board didn't like it? I don't think anyone has any personal hatred for the local media. Jealousy perhaps, but enough with this personal attack business. Your job is to have things read by a mass amount of people. Criticism is in the job description. At no point did any of the posts cross the line of general disagreement for the article, and actual hatred for its author. Some people are going to dislike certain aspects of your profession. Having read books by some journalist legends like Robert Novak, I'm under the impression that in the old days, they would've loved the attention it brought to their work. If I were a sports writer, I'd make it my sole obligation to write a controversial piece in order to spark debate centered on my article. Getting your work noticed has got to be the first priority. So why is it that when a relatively harmless insult is made on a local article, you felt the need to come out of your TBD retirement?
  7. Actually, as far as sport teams message boards go, I'm very surprised at the above average level or grammar and insightful posts (also complete sentences and lack of children). I think there are childish fans out there on these boards, but if you just go to a Raiders message board for example, its difficult to read, hard to follow, and filled with ridiculous images, long rap lyric signatures and swearing. Sure we're a negative bunch... It's easy to get down on the media when your team has been below average for 10 consecutive seasons.
  8. 5'8, 199, 4.46 40 time, 78 receptions and 2,000 offensive yards for 2009. Watch out Larry Centers. *Edit: For the record, Le'Ron McClain was Baltimore's "Pro Bowl Fullback" last year. Honest mistake?
  9. Just last season Derek Anderson beat us with 27 yards. So, he needs at least that.
  10. Care to explain the last 7 years of the Bills-Patriots* series?
