Look at the 1st round QBs picked over the past 12 years or so. It's far from a sure thing that you get a keeper.
Might be better to go after someone like Kirk Cousins than to use a 1st round pick on a QB unless you're really sold on someone.

There's a used car lot in a very bad neighborhood in Chicago. When you drive by the first thing you notice is the razor wire on top of the fenced area where the cars are "displayed". Then you look at the cars and wonder why on earth are they protecting those wrecks.
Doesn't Philly know that if security screens and razor wire are eliminated that law enforcement costs will skyrocket? Imagine all the overtime police will have to log to complete the increase in crime reports.
Yes and it's just as credible to say that the Bills may have beaten the Jets had Peterman started that game.
I'm so tired of other posters pointing to the Chargers game as a game the Bills would have won if TT played. The only thing that is for sure is that TT earned his spot on the bench for that game. Great guy but he earned the demotion.
Hardly. Dems are simply doing this to put pressure on Moore and Republicans now and after the election should Moore win. Also to support a narrative against Trump. Once all this dies down, Dems will return to supporting their own regardless of character issues if it suits them politically.
Oh, and expect more well timed accusers of Trump to surface at the right time politically.
Franken may run for President in 2020.
Timing is everything.
Those are all spot on.
In the rockpile, I was under 10 years old. Can't recall opponent but it was a cool fall day. 2nd game attended was the first home pre-season game at Rich.
Uh, no. There are a boatload of free agents out there, the draft and trade options. You work on QB, OL, WR, TE, RB, DL, LB and secondary. Not one of these positions will have all the same starters or depth next year. Not one.
Good thread. The QB rants have overshadowed this topic for sure. When you look at the Bills roster, you realize they have a lot of needs throughout and they need their current young talent to develop into good caliber players.
It starts with being informed enough to have a decent set of priorities one wants from elected officials and having some understanding of federal, state and local constitutions. Being better informed just isn't a priority for most Americans. I truly believe that if we had a better informed electorate we'd have much more common ground on a lot of topics. Unfortunately as a voting population we are a politically lazy bunch and easily swayed by media and sound-bite/ demagoguery from politicians.
That may be true but for those that return plus the coaching staff you want to establish and refine best practices. At the same time give the younger guys who are keepers as much playing time as possible.
