  1. That's interesting you point out Dorian Williams as a factor in this game because McDermott was uncharacteristically praising him in his presser yesterday.
  2. I think you over looked one, Brock Bowers. He very likely may be better than all of them. After a great college career he had an amazing rookie year "setting rookie season records for receptions in a season and the most receiving yards by a tight end, earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors in the process."
  3. That's probably a designation that releases them from having to give him an injury settlement after waiving him injured/reverts to IR then released.
  4. They must have changed the camera angle for the Tampa kicker because his were all clean through the middle.
  5. Yea, I also heard "Baker Mayfield" and thought, what?... he's playing?... wasn't supposed to be.
  6. I have to disagree; there was at least one that was close to the right upright and even the announcer made comment. All the Tampa kicker's kicks were much cleaner, it wasn't just the TV angle.
  7. Where do you get the information that McD wanted DeJean? I’m curious as I have heard nothing of this anywhere.
  8. Keeping SVPG on PUP is the easiest and best answer. Possible injuries and roster views will make it clearer after 4 weeks. Feeney or Jacob Bayer, who was said to be looking good earlier in camp, should be easy to get on the PS as an Anderson backup if needed. “If a player starts the NFL season on the Reserve/PUP list, they are eligible to return during the season after missing at least the first four games. Teams then have a five-week window to begin a 21-day practice period, during which the player can be activated to the 53-man roster.“
  9. Not to mention that Quarterbacks are much better protected by the rules now, they took a beating back in that era; just ask Jim Kelly and his multiple surgeries about it.
  10. Interesting stuff, cool story; I remember hearing Jim Richter had become a pilot. I’m guessing your airline was AA.
  11. I’d like to know what your view of Henderson is, as there’s two opposing views above. What little I have heard is positive, but I don’t follow 0SU.
  12. He's taking a huge "pay cut" as his NIL was much greater than that contract.
  13. It means he is 6 feet and 1.1 inches tall.
  14. Is that Marcell Dareus, still wearing that captains hat? New gig? 🤣
  15. From those videos (if representative) he looks like a more athletic Jordan Poyer. If paired with T Rapp we may have one of the hardest hitting safety duos in the league.
  16. Tua is good, a very good passer within their system. But Josh is a very good all around Quarterback and a great athelete, who could play well in any system! Metaphorically speaking, Tua is one dimensional, Josh is multi dimensional. Could Tua have taken that pitch back from Amari Cooper and scored? No. he wouldn't have even thought to be there to get, let alone scored if he did.
  17. Gerald Ford couldn't have said it better! Evidently you're older than I thought.
  18. Thanks, that's a great story indeed. I was a Big Brother in the program back in my 30's and would encourage anyone to get involved with it. As evidenced, it can have lasting rewards.
  19. Now he can hang out with Diggs!
  20. Have you considered that Brown Eye may be a female??
  21. No, it's to fill Grables (to IR) spot on the O Line in a depth reshuffle.
  22. Just an FYI for you and @Virgil Sal posts snap counts with % the next day after a game on his twitter. example: https://twitter.com/SalSports/status/1833098002954592650/photo/2
  23. Yes, the analysis I saw last season on him said he was descending in the 2nd half as likely teams had seen enough tape on him and saw his weaknesses. He is the weak link on the O-Line.
  24. I believe it's been a collaboration "with" Palmer, whether it still is now hasn't been specifically stated. As reported in this interesting article from Jan 2022: https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Daily/Issues/2022/01/24/Technology/josh-allen-embraces-technology-to-transform-himself-from-loose-cannon-to-maybe-a-3d-mvp.aspx "private sessions with quarterback whisperer Jordan Palmer, who, in March of 2020, introduced Allen to a football-technology whisperer: Chris Hess" "His prime advice was for Allen to work with Palmer on not lifting his back heel before planting his front stride foot, essentially to create proper ground force." And this from May 8, 2024 https://buffalowdown.com/posts/mechanics-source-bills-josh-allen-rise-2020-01hvt06fdyn1 implies he still is working with Palmer. "Since the pre-draft process and during the offseason, Allen has worked with Palmer to improve his arm mechanics, footwork, and game knowledge. The specific change Palmer is widely known to have influenced Allen is his arm mechanics." From another old article: Josh Allen works with Palmer (left) and Mike White (far right), a biomechanics specialist who helps Palmer's clients to refine their throwing motions.
  25. Only when he has a Will to do it.
