Diet Pop is disgusting IMO. I know regular pop is bad for you and I don't drink it often but it's hard to turn down an ice cold soda in the Summertime once in awhile. My theory is stay away from Pop in general the majority of the time but if your gonna splurge once in awhile it may as well be for the real stuff.

Is that out already? I thought that wasn't coming out until the Fall -
Anything you look back on fondly that hasn’t aged well?

It's a pretty interesting look back at an interesting time in life. It's on HBO Max right now but I would imagine it will be available on other platforms as well over time As a kid those Looney Tunes TV Dinners were fine dining -
The Greatest 77 Seconds in Buffalo Bills Football
BillsPride12 replied to T&C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When seeing the highlights after the Bills made the incredible comeback in this game on the old NFL Films videos to me this was always the absolute craziest I've ever seen the stadium look. Looked even crazier than the playoff games, greatest comeback game etc. -

Have you seen the documentary on Woodstock 99 yet? What an interesting time 1999 was -
He was a hell of a football player and nothing but first class as a human being. One of my absolute favorite non-Bills players over the years. It was a pleasure watching him get inducted last night.

Sadly I think your right. Although I'm not a fan I was listening to Mike Schopp on WGR one time and he did hit the nail on the head with this one when he said "You just wish sports could always look and feel the same way they did when you were 12 years old" -

As much as I hate to say it but Sports in general. They just haven't felt the same to me over the more recent years. I was as big of a sports nut as you can imagine growing up but I find myself less interested each passing year. -

Jordan Poyer says golf saved his life
BillsPride12 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lawrence Taylor said the same thing as well. Golf really is a great compromise for people with addictive personalities. It can become a replacement vice for people who struggle with drugs and alcohol. Even for me personally, to a lesser extreme, but when I was coming off my harder partying years, golf kind've became my replacement "fix" -

Yes they moved it out of Pilot Field this year because of the Blue Jays thing. The Jays had home games that weekend and at the time everything was still up in the air if they would be playing games in Buffalo still at that point. So of course after they made the switch to Highmark stadium for the Wingfest the Jays have gone back to playing in Toronto. Covid has really created a clusterf*** in every way imagineable!

There's an elevated hole at the Niagara Falls Country Club golf course where you can see out to Toronto, it's pretty cool.

Bruce Smith official and unofficial sack leader
BillsPride12 replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's cool they did this study and interesting that Bruce is still number 1 when you tally up the years before sacks became an official stat. I had always heard growing up that if they counted sacks back in the day Deacon Jones would've been the all-time sack leader by far. -
Who will the Bills miss most this season?
BillsPride12 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My biggest fear is starting to be Beasley. I think we should be able to overcome the current losses without any drastic hiccups but in losing Beasley we will lose an entire dimension of our offense. Hopefully this whole situation will smooth itself out but looking rocky right now. -
In all my travels around the US, Milwaukee is by far the most similar city to Buffalo so I had a soft spot for them during this run. But yeah Giannis is just the man! My favorite athlete in pro sports today outside of any Buffalo players
