  1. I agree. The Green Bay model--with a veteran Farve (clearly better than any option the Bills have, admittedly) allowing at young-but-talented Rogers to learn rather than be thown into the fire--is the best way to handle the QB position...
  2. Putting him in a RPO offense, rather than a standard pro set, seemed to do wonders for Foles. I wonder how many guys are misused throughout their careers by trying to pound square pegs into round holes...
  3. And on ignore user already. Must be a record...
  4. Has to be #2 or #3 to keep wildcards like the Fins from jumping ahead of them. Hope it's 2 so they can get their target without any worries...
  5. They have to feel good about a trade partner to go commando like this. Maybe Indy at #3. Can't let some team jump ahead of them like the Steelers did with Big Ben in 2004. It has to be a done deal before draft day. In any event, good on Beane and best of luck to TT. A class guy and I wish him nothing but the best...
  6. How can you not love an Oh-DIGGY-zoo-wah! A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo...
  7. Lamar Jackson - Louisville - 49 (left), 49 (right) Nathan Peterman, Pittsburgh, 49 (Left), 49 (Right) Mr. Griese would be holding a clipboard in today's NFL...
  8. Injuries like concussions and broken ribs aren't related to 'commitment' or a perceived lack thereof... https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/marquise-goodwin-player-injuries
  9. Yep. Epic trolling fail....
  10. Yep. Price is the kind of OL pick the Bills have NOT done enough of over the years. He's a prototypical Steeler plug-n-play 10-year starter. Pittsburgh always seems to draft guys like this in the second round range that everyone else eventually wishes they took...
  11. Hence, the second part of my post...
  12. That's a really interesting chart! I was surprised to see Shady faced eight-in-the-box fronts just 36% of the time...it seemed higher to me for some reason. Looking at the other end of the rankings, Frank Gore jumped out at me. He faced 8-man fronts just 26% of the time--and was able to overpower those alignments on a regular basis. I could see Ivory being similarly successful if Daboll can scheme the run game so teams have to respect the pass rather than load up the box. The other notable was Gurley at 16.8%, Bell at 19.9% and Hunt at 23.5%. Their success owes a tremendous amount to the threat of their passing games. Upgrading our QB play will be like adding jet fuel to Shady's tank if he can stay healthy / effective long enough for it to kick in.
  13. I no likey Barnwell. He's just another ESPN fanboy with a crush on the same-old, same-old. Not much there, there...
  14. Nothing to see here. Just another allegation ransomware attack... https://deadspin.com/lawsuit-claims-chris-berman-left-racially-disparaging-1823527993 Update, 7:34 p.m. ET: Hill has denied that Berman left her such a voicemail, and ESPN has released the following statement:
  15. That article is from 2015, man.... (here's the link you want: http://deadline.com/2018/03/oscar-ratings-down-all-time-low-viewership-1202310775/ ) Gotta love some of the comments to that story: "Exactly. Who wants to subject themselves to to that. That’s not entertainment. Hollywood has gotten even more out of touch with middle America than ever before." "It’s because people are tired of elitists liberal trash telling them what’s best for them! that’s why they’re down. Who even watches these lame award shows?" "Exactly. They have seemingly stopped nominating pictures that normal people enjoy?" "I’m thinking of becoming a strategist for Hollywood and The Academy Awards. Whomever is consulting and advising the industry, obviously, has zero understanding of how people think and feel; emotional intelligence is terribly misunderstood by these so called “experts”. But what else is new, people being over paid for something they know nothing about." The dumbing down of America continues apace....
  16. I get your point and I agree with it. If there's no way to get THE guy they want, I don't want to settle for the second or third choice just so a box can be checked off. Man up and move on...
  17. This sounds more interesting.....
  18. Lol! That's who he reminded me of as I watched him run through the drills...
  19. The speed / weight combos these guys are generating explains a lot about the increased frequency of "blue tent" visits the NFL is experiencing. The kinetic forces have to be unreal...
  20. He may have stollen the interview show but I didn't see that in the underware portion of the event....
  21. Head and shoulders above the others in terms of body control and fluid movement. He's going to be really good...
