    I too don't see Phillips getting anywhere near the 9.5 mostly delayed clean up sacks. His run stopping performance was poor. I had hope for the big man but maybe it would be best to let him get someone to overpay. At 6-8 mill maybe, but I'd much prefer a DJ Reader type, If not DJ himself

    Crofts Very good player before he got hurt. Couldn't come back from the injury.

    His beef was with the coaches. He gave everything he had and did it well for a long time. Ruben has remained positive towards the Bills since he retired. Sorry, but you need to revisit the event a bit more thoroughly.

    What is your beef with Ruben? His peers, by virtue of his numerous pro bowls, thought very highly of this opponent of theirs. Yet they don't know anything do they?

    Harris was the superior QB of the two. Briscoe was short and his completion percentage, even in those days, was poor. Great WR though.

    If you are saying they should shorten the preseason, that's fine. I'm simply against any expansion of the regular season or adding playoff games, etc. Of this, I'm serious. Again, to use preseason games in a trade off to add games to regular season is a failure to utilize any critical thinking in the comparison of them.

    Preseason is of value to see marginalized player get their chance to show their skills. But mainly, a preseason game is a kiddie ride vs. the best roller coaster out there. These games can't be traded equally. So stop with the shortening of preseason games, games the stars may skip entirely. Jeez.....

    No more games, period. It is only a blatant money grab and does nothing for the game. Player safety issues at fore front for the past decade and the NFL continues wants to expand the schedule? Good old Billionaire greed, pure and simple. Sickening.......

    Finally? The Chargers rode him untill there was nothing left. Rivers will be known as basically a decent QB, but never great.

    Absolutely incorrect. TT was a better pass receiver, far better blocker in pass production, and had bigger seasons rushing than has McCoy. No one ran a draw better than TT. I'll give McCoy the edge in speed but old TT was clearly a superior player than McCoy. With that said McCoy was pretty special but not TT's equal let alone superior to him.

    Eh hem... Third.… Spygate, deflatgate, now Bengalgate. If anyone thinks this is all the cheating the Patsies did, well... I got a bridge in NY to sell you and some valuable property in Fla.

    No conspiracies needed. The Patriots cheat regularly and they have been caught three times now in a major way. Not once, not twice, but three and a rational person would tend to believe there were many more times where they simply weren't caught.

    The Astros should forfeit their titles like they do in College sports. For the owner to say this scandal and punishment doesn't tarnish 2017, etc., only shows he should have been suspended/banned as well

    Not displeased at all that the hole in the chin and the Texans team lost. To watched him go from gleeful celebrating to a depressed funk was almost as good as watching Belichek getting "Belicheked" by Vrabel.... Sometimes there is justice.

    This is a point missing post. I would agree that we should be able to trim a TE from the roster but I would start with the most penalized TE who plays such a low percentage of snaps, Mr. Lee Smith.
