  1. Week 8 - Bills @ Jets--LOSS Week 10 - KC @ Buff--LOSS Week 11 - Bills @ Fish--LOSS Week 12 - Jets @ Bills--WIN Week 13 - Browns @ Bills--LOSS Week 14 - Bills @ Denver--LOSS Week 15 - Packers @ Bills--LOSS Week 16 - Bills @ Oakland--WIN Week 17 - Bills at NE*--LOSS And thanks once again, LA. This is always an enjoyable event.
  2. This team has no business trying for points at the end of the firts half with 3 minutes or less. All they manage to do is give the opponent a chance to score points. Last week, this week and I believe at least one other time this year. The don't have the team for it. Or maybe it is the coaching. Or both.
  3. If you are a bust 9 years in and on your 3rd team, does that count? If so, try Jim Plunkett. A #1 overall pick.
  4. It is early but this game may decide the AFC East. It will be a game of, can the Bills run the ball on offense. On defense can they stop the passes to the NE tight ends. Almost half of the NE passes against the Bengals went to tight ends. This has been a thorn in the side of the Bills whenever they play NE.
  5. If there are way too many flags, what about all the ones on Offensive Holding when the Bills are on Defense? At least as I read TBD they are being held on every play.
  6. So much for fandom. I was listening to Denver radio Tuesday and they were arguing about Peyton Manning not being tough. Neither broadcaster thought he was soft but a couple of fans thought he was. Even winning doesn't cure all in Denver these days.
  7. I thought I was late finding this but you filled in my answer. Not only the last one, may be the only one. Unless you count Lamonica.
  8. I don't understand why everyone seems so sure Pegula will clean house. If anything he is more likely to let Marrone finish his contract. At best he will force a new OC on Marrone.
  9. True. I should have said rather than Hackett.
  10. I was really surpised the Bills were within striking distance at half time. Looked like the kind of game you could steal. Anyone else wish Frank Reich was our OC?
  11. Good for forcasts. Especially wind. http://www.sailflow.com/map#42.899,-78.159,9,1,!844,2
  12. Thanks for the post. I still hate no team like a do Miami. The Manny Fernandez handoff where the Bills QB at the time (maybe Dennis Shaw but we had so many QB's in a string back then I can't remember which one) handed the ball to him as he was rushing in and he ran for a touchdown. I never saw the play, only heard it on the radio. The Bills had a chance of defeating the Fins when it happened. I think it was the undefeated season. If someone here saw the play, I would like an explanation. Nick Buoniconti hated the Bills. So much so when they interviewed the old members of the Fins from that team and they got to him, he recounted how the Bills fans were going wild for OJ runs when the Bills played the fins that year in Buffalo. He says so what, we won. Hey, that was about all Bills fans had to cheer about at the time, and you bring that up from your undefeated year. Screw you, Nick. I forgot. Years of Shula biased officiating. Just like the example above. Shula was a member of the rules committee. I think it helped him.
  13. So what if they had the tapes and Rice's fiance begged that they shouldn't boot him, and reluctantly they agreed. Does that make the NFL terrible for not kicking him out or nice for giving him a second chance? I don't have any legal knowledge but is it true that if she didn't want to press charges, then no legal action could be taken? When the first video came out and I heard it was in a casino, I assumed what had happened in the elevator would come out very shortly. Casino's tape everything. So where was EVERYONE asking for the video's before? I find the situation everyone is in very odd when you follow the time-line.
  14. That catch by Williams was a game change. For years I have seen receivers to that for Brady. It was nice, for once, to see someone in a Bills uniform do that. Why is when the Bills run a screen, with one defender in the area, he isn't blocked??? The Bears seem to be able to get the defenders blocked! I haven't had this feeling after a Bills win in a long time. The entire week should be brighter.
  15. Unfortunately it doesn't establish anything about the decisions being correct.
  16. That is exactly what the Islanders were thinking when they traded for Vanek.
  17. Where is Ted? The best hitter ever.
  18. You don't know but she was voted most responsible Bills employee that day.
  19. Before his rookie season started, I read an article how OJ and Harris would lead the Bills to the promised land. He was that big QB with a strong arm that every team yearns for. I couldn't wait. He had great arm strength and his accuracy in drills was amazing. They used to swing a tire and Harris could zip that ball through that tire with consistency. But Marky remembers as I do. He threw the short pass with the same velocity as the long. He didn't really have much touch. Can't remember if he had any skill reading defenses. He also had a mysterious stomach issue in his first camp. He missed more than a few practices, which obviously didn't help him. I was expecting big things but they never came. I haven't bought into QB hype since.
  20. One of the names that came to mind as I went through the threads was George Blanda. His name wasn't on your list, so went to look at his stats at NFL.com. It appears he would have way more games than any of the others on your list although the don't have a specific Games Played column. So where did your numbers come from? It is interesting to see how everyone evaluates this. Archie was probably the greatest QB that ever had to play with the least. If he had any support he would have made the top 5 of half the posters here.
  21. I believe the "started the hurry up" is wrong multiple times.
  22. It's odd you mention 10 years ago, because Dick Lebeau was the DC for the Buffalo Bills in 2003. And no matter who the coach is, you don't do well without talent.
  23. Thanks for posting this, I was also going to post but was waiting a couple of days. Billznut really crushed the competition. Typically, if you can pick two thirds of the games correct you are doing really well and the three top finishers all did that. A special mention should also go out to Matt in KC and WVUFootball29 who both had an perfect week, which occurred during week 8. I look forward to this every year as it adds a lot of interest to games I wouldn't normally pay any attention to. Amazing how many games a week go down to the last two minutes.
  24. Thanks for the post. If the NFL network or any other network ran a schedule where they replayed the Bills' entire game from week to week of the 63, 64, 65 and 66 seasons, I would be more than willing to subscribe.
