  1. If I watch this long enough does he jump on a table trying to break it?
  2. I heard she was rather cold.
  3. I wonder how the NHL is going to react after the Knights win the cup.
  4. Those two don't even count as "At Bats."
  5. If I put the sliders 2.5 to 3 bars to the left of Yanni I hear both. Call me suspicious but if you recorded both words, filtering the lows out of one and the highs out of the other, that is what you would get. One heard at the highs and one heard at the lows, and somewhere in between, both.
  6. Love was a group that came about in the 60's. They never had commercial success, mainly because they were just too far ahead of the music scene. Arthur Lee was the main song writer in the group. Jimi Hendrix supposed said in an interview that Lee was his wardrobe inspiration. Here is a live version of "7 and 7 is", 30+ years after the record was released. The second song has live versions on Youtube but I thought I would include the album version for its precision. I included it because the style is totally different than "7 and 7 is" If you have time check out the compete albums, 1967, "Forever Changes" and 1969, "Four Sail" I didn't mean to hijack the thread. This would have gone better in one of the music threads, but I don't see how you link them.
  7. I had a Love youtube binge because of you. Cost me 2 hours.
  8. That appears to be it. Here is the Link to the item when it was not on sale. It was on sale at Fry's for $25. Seems to make a mess if you actually use it on fly's. https://www.frys.com/product/9248269?nearbyStoreName=false&site=sunlanding050618
  9. Speaking about housefly's. I saw a gun for sale that shoots salt. It is supposed to be used for shooting flying insects. I have never heard of anything like that before.
  10. I saw a hummingbird at the bird feeders Sunday, so I put the hummingbird feeders up Tuesday. I have seen at least two different ones. One is a Ruby Throated, the other I don't know what it is. It is grey (no relation) with a white band around its neck. BTW if you don't happen to know, hummingbirds will come back for years looking for feeders they previously fed on. I assume that was what the bird was doing on Sunday. Do your Orioles stay? I have seen one at my feeders once each year. Then nothing.
  11. I think you were looking for this one.
  12. That's pretty clever. Hiding the identities of certain Two Bills Drive posters as dogs.
  13. I showed the data but I expected someone to comment on what the increase means to Amazon. $20 more a year at 100 Million subscribers is 2 BILLION dollars. Now that is the way to boost your bottom line. Either that or maybe the production costs for Bosch have gotten out of hand. Amazon must be thinking they are a drug company. Also if you did not read the article, you have until June 16 to renew before the price increase goes into affect.
  14. I either say Goodbye or CYA. If the other person never says anything I assume the conversation is still going and wait. How else could you tell? Maybe it is time to bring back "Roger, Over and Out."
  15. Am I the only one that thought the "party on" attitude of the week had some affect? Also, they could have gone to running Thurman more and I don't think it was the game plan to run less. The Giants were very lucky Sims wasn't the QB. The stars had truly aligned in the Giants favor.
  16. Three pages of posts and Ed Rutkowski gets no love.
  17. With the exception of NYC, is there a city in New York where what you said is not true?
  18. Marlin Briscoe made Dennis Shaw the ROY.
  19. Back then, no one hit Clayton Kershaw like Carpenter did. I expected Carpenter to hit .300 for years.
  20. Just finished The Night Manager. Very good. Last episode caused a lot of anxiety waiting to see how it would sort out. Must be a good sign. Thanks for the tip. Before that I went through the Frankenstein Chronicles. First year very good, seemed a bit weaker the second year. Haven't heard if they are going with a third season.
  21. I saw that also. In the story they blamed every thing except the fact that, as we discussed above, the players are just swinging for the fences.
  22. What happens when someone gets seriously injured, like a paralysing spinal injury? I would assume public or private lot, a law suit would ensue. Do private lots carry insurance? I just started this, so maybe someone has also brought this up.
  23. He didn't apply the curve yet.
  24. I am rather amazed at how many people aren't getting this. In any situation where an employee in a relationship can say they had to do it to keep their job, it puts a company at risk. To avoid the risk, company's simply make it a policy for dismissal. Also, I think some here don't really understand what "at will" employer really means with regards to job security.
