  1. Jackson is my plan B, so there is separation for me. Nonetheless, I won't be deeply disappointed unless we miss out on all five.
  2. If true, they won't trade up. I hope you are incorrect in your surmise.
  3. Saying you are adapatable to the strengths and weakness of whichever qb you end up with does not necessarily imply they don't have a strong preference for 1 or 2.
  4. I think the view that the top 4 have Andy Dalton as a ceiling is an outlier perspective.
  5. Did you just call Kay Adams scum? Pistols at dawn.
  6. We're picking at 22, so it's already inaccurate. Maybe Edmunds falls to 12. No way Smith makes it (my preferred lb). Still think we end up trading up for qb.
  7. I agree about Brown.
  8. Guess we'll have a better sense a few years down the road. Right now it's hard to get a read on the fella.
  9. Still time to redress the situation. If they settle for what you postulate, they are dopes and it won't sit well with the fanbase (nor should it.)
  10. I really think they are aggressively trying to trade up, though this may simply be my own hope coloring perception.
  11. Tricky if you have a two-stage strategy like securing 5 or 6 in order to get 2.
  12. Of course, as Dostoevsky pointed out, sometimes it is the eccentric individual who speaks truth to a mad society, something along the lines of Yeats' Crazy Jane poems.
  13. Oh, c'mon. If you were the Browns' GM, you'd trade us the 1st pick for peanuts
  14. Actually trading up for Rudolph would be the final indignity. I'd be as angry as Inigo looking for the six-fingered patricide.
  15. Literally, the worst result possible.
  16. You're right, but it's possible the Giants decide to take a qb at 2 and the Broncos take a qb at 5. I don't think it's likely, but it's also not implausible. Lots of draft capital, but maybe no trade partner.
  17. I just hope they can get to 5. Otherwise, they might get frozen out on the top qbs.
  18. Yeah, they might not have a choice. I just don't have a high opinion of Rudolph, sorry.
  19. Translation: You think they will take Allen if they trade up to 2. I would be one of the few not dismayed by it, though Darnold is my first choice.
  20. I think that is a good guess as to what will ultimately happen. I will be pleased with it, though Rosen is not my favorite.
  21. I like Allen, so there are 4 guys that have to go before desperation time for me. I'm not convinced qb is a lock for Giants and Broncos. Taking Rudolph at 12 or 22 is taking a third round qb in the 1st, imo. I don't think Beane is that dim. Wait on Luke Falk, Mike White or Lauletta if you're going that route. Jackson is a risky pick, but he has a high ceiling at least. Personally, I don't think 2, 4, 5, or 6 are locked down yet, so I'm not giving up hope.
  22. 5 is certainly preferable to 6. I agree about the urgency.
