A board designated for political discussion, but it rarely attains anything more than ridicule of opposing viewpoints, the sort of thing where you accuse those who disagree with you of wearing tin foil hats.

The NL has much more strategy. It's a different game when you have to decide whether to burn a pitcher for a pinch hitter in a particular spot. But the game is changing anyway, bullpen games and the like. Some folks seem to think you've got to have both leagues playing by the same rules. Why? I rather like the World Series with the DH in some games and not others. Oh, and go Braves.

Jersey reveal for Miami game. Yes, It's Halloween
Dr. Who replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've grown used to the swoosh. Our current unis are great, but the standing buffalo is the best helmet in the league. -
Eh, I like the long second season, but I do take your point.

The 2012 L.A. Kings disagree.

Seriously, if we make it to the SB, they need to rock the throwbacks. The standing buffalo helmet is absolutely classic and its the one we wore in victorious championship games. -
I actually liked them when Andreychuk played for them. Now they're the NHL version of the Pats*.

Apparently Dune 2 has now been officially confirmed. Friend of mine just shared the tweet.

Just make sure you get the generic umbrage, because the brand name umbrage is priced out of sight.

The topic of the OP is regards to a redraft and the relative merits of each qb and who one would draft, etc. I took that to be the general context in which case, as I think I have indicated, I don't think Josh is way behind. I anticipated your apparent criteria, which does not seem to me to fit the topic that I surmised was the actual context in which one should interpret your contribution to this thread. You seem unduly exercised over truculent. I have explained why it seemed to me an appropriate word. I don't think most folks would have taken such umbrage, but perhaps not. Have a good one.

Alright, since we've established what a fine, calm fellow you are, on what basis do you discern that Josh Allen is way behind Mahomes? Do you mean the current standard of play exhibited by each qb or are you referring to the SB and MVP? One could plausibly argue that Allen was MVP level last year. I think Allen is pretty evidently playing better right now, but if one thinks otherwise, fine, the disparity is not so great that many would agree that Allen is way behind. If all you really mean is Allen is yet to win a SB, that is granted by everyone, but few conclude that this means Allen is a far inferior player.
-
Calm down. Try some aroma therapy. The claim that Allen is way behind Mahomes is either hyperbole designed to inflame readers (i.e. truculent) or you are simply wrong.
-
He's not way behind. You're being truculent. Right now, I'd take Josh straight up, though obviously he's yet to win a SB.

Which realistic trade options should the Bills target?

Norwell and Sanders. Be bold, Beane. -
Boomers: Does Derrick Henry remind you of Cookie Gilchrist?
Dr. Who replied to John Gianelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Way before my time, of course, but if you want to pair tough runner with perfect names for the golden age of football, its hard to beat Bronko Nagurski and Cookie. -
I agree with this, though there is the semi-plausible argument that lots of holds go uncalled all the time. So what is the criteria, especially eggregious? It doesn't seem to be uniformly applied, as your example on the Henry TD points out. Bills had 14 points erased by penalty, Titans had 7 awarded by lack of a call.

You know the best way to win multiple SBs when the window is open for you? Make sure you take your shot at the first one when the planets have alligned for you.

I don't either, but it won't be a neutral field for the AFC games. Getting home field is the penultimate aim. Baltimore already has wins against the Chiefs, Colts, and Lions that could easily have gone the other way (the Lions got jobbed on the uncalled delay of game penalty). Those are Ws, in contrast with one score differential games we lost already that probably should have been won. Slim margins at the top.

Fella went out of his way to publicize his political commitments and to cast shade on those who hold differing opinions. Then he does something like this which is only the last in a long litany of bad behavior and folks are going to get irritated by the taint of PPP in a thread? It's a terrible situation and I'm sorry for everyone involved, but it's not ridiculous to question what the hell was going on.

Public hearings coming on future Buffalo stadium
Dr. Who replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
You Brits don't have a monopoly on genius. We had a congressman here in Georgia who thought that an island might be sinking because of the weight of added military folk on an army base. -
Personally, I'm good with playing this style of hockey, developing the younger players, and ending up with a top three pick.

I'm not sure your view is that far different from a hope they can "reset the toxic culture."

Sherlock Holmes is Jabba the Hut over there, which was his original handle on the defunct BB board. There are a few others who changed their name on the other site, I think.

I'm wondering why we had back-to-back away games against the Titans. Don't they usually rotate these things? Regardless, Vrabel is good at game planning these ugly wins for his team. I'm most disappointed there was no pressure on Tannehill. We loaded up to stop the run, but probably should have kept at least one of Epenesa or Basham active.
