  1. Wow. Great defense so far. I really do enjoy watching Brady get abused!
  2. Oh My God! He missed the field goal! EPIC FAIL! Now not even a chance for an onsides kick.
  3. Motivation for the Jets? The Bengals must of thought it was a gimme game.
  4. Geez, the Bengals keep this up and maybe the Bengals have a job opening in the morning....
  5. Just a feelin, but I think it's game over. Bengals seem to be missing some fire.
  6. There are no other openings for Cowher to consider at this time, just speculation on who might be fired. So for the Bills to not explore every option, would be ludicrous. I want this team to do it's due diligence regarding signing of the next head coach, not just a "splashy name". It is obvious Cowher has been spoken to by the Bills. Has he been offered the job? Nobody knows except the Bills organization and Bill Cowher. If he has not been offered the job, do the Bills intend on offering him the position? Nobody knows but the Bills organization. Maybe Cowher has been offered the job and is truly deciding on coaching versus retirement, not just if he would want to coach Buffalo or some other job. Granted, if his "dream job" opened, he would probably take that job immediately, as would any one of us. FWIW, Billick, Shotty Sr., Harbaugh, Grimm, and every other qualified coach in the NFL/college are still available. The only coach we wanted who is gone is Shanny, as this Pete Carroll thing was a big surprise. Now, if the top candidates start being picked off and we still don't have a coach in the mix, that's when I'll be worried. Personally I want Cowher number one, but would be very happy with Shotty Sr., and OK with Billick. Both former coaches who have done something in this league, and both are available with Billick being very public about his desire for the job. I am willing to let this all play out as I am confident the Bills have one or two guys targeted and would be willing to do what it takes...to a certain degree. As most people on this board feel, the longer this plays out, the worse the end story will be. We'll just have to wait and see. It doesn't end with the signing of the next HC anyway. We won't know for a few years if the right decision was made anyway, no matter if we sign Cowher, Billick or Fraiser.
  7. As far as I'm concerned, Billick is a pompous a**. Maybe that's not a bad thing. This team could use a little flair from the head coach. Also, he does tend to have good assistant coaches. If we don't land Cowher, which seems likely according to "reports", I wouldn't mind seeing Billick here. Think about it, instead of Buffalo Bill Cowher, we'd have Buffalo Billick!
  8. Kinda cute, reminds me of Ashleigh Banfield Nix http://www.thebachelorguy.com/images/blogs...inixglasses.jpg Banfield http://www.topnews.in/files/images/Ashleigh-Banfield1.jpg
  9. Because the Bills don't want anyone knowing who they are interviewing. Why start a bidding war if you don't have to. I can't imagine they don't have a short list by this point of most important targets....God knows they've had enough experience over the last 10 years to know how to do this...
  10. Pure speculation on your part. Again, we don't know ANY of the truth and will not even when this whole saga is over.
  11. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ls-again-today/ Florio picked up the article also. While I do find it interesting that the author of the article did say the Bills staff was getting axed prior to it happening. Not sure I give 100% credence to he'll be in town. Kinda hope it is true though.
  12. My predictions for 2010: - The Bills will have a new HC - Jerry Sullivan will be angry about the above - President Obama will address the nation - The New York legislature will still suffer from Rectal Cranial Inversion - In December, iPod sales will go up - The Bills 1st round draft pick will immediately be viewed as a "bust" - This nations debt will increase - "unconfirmed sources" will have information on our new HC And my most bold prediction: The Buffalo Bills will improve to 7-9
  13. Right, and Shanny didn't have the 'Skins job a few weeks ago. The thing is, we have no idea what is really going on with any of this. For all we know Cowher could be looking for houses in OP right now. The only time we'll know what is really going on is when the HC is named, and we still won't know even 85% of the backstory anyway.
  14. While the potential for a lockout after next year makes it interesting, I say BS also. Cowher: "yeah, I know you have 4 years left on your current teams contract, but how about ditching that and coming to Buffalo for 1 year?"
  15. I remember being at work and checking this site often for news on the next HC. As I recall Sherman, Haslett, Fassel were all candidates then all of a sudden, BAM the hire DJ. Total disappointment. I truly hope the Ralph is NOT the driving force on the HC hiring, that it is Nix and the right guy will get the job based on his ability, not his paycheck. Hope all the Cowher not coaching this year is just a smokescreen, but I have a bad feeling it isn't.
  16. Schotty was on record as stating he would not coach again prior to taking the Chargers job. Also, as reported on WGR this morning, either Mort or Schefter stated that Shotty does have the urge to coach again. Sorry no link. I do have a weird feeling that Shotty does end up or HC.
  17. Wow. On the front page of bb.com also. Kinda changes things a bit, unless it's more disinformation?
  18. Actually, that makes me feel better about all this. Makes me think he has heard both sides and this is all probably a public negotiation. The Bills may have put themselves in this position with the whole 10 Million thing. FWIW, just pay the man, 11...12 million, he is the best available (notwithstanding Shotty, if he chooses to coach again), just get it done.
