  1. Watched the game when I got home. These two are the worst play-by-play and analyst I’ve heard. Barber is a complete buffoon. The studio guys did a bang up job, wished they would have finished the game.
  2. Was at the game. People in my section were yelling “Bease “. Didn’t hear any booing.
  3. Process wasn’t bad. Had a huge crowd in front of us about 11:30. Vax check was very fast. Wonder if they were really looking. Have the excelsior pass, security person looked for a brief second and waved me on. Not scanned. In the stadium by 11:50. Seems crappy they’d do what they did and then be pretty lackadaisical about checking proof of vaccination.
  4. Too much of a narcissist to off himself yet. He’s well hidden somewhere and won’t pull the trigger until authorities get too close. They must think they know something specific to be expending so much energy in one place. Don’t believe he’s where they think he is.
  5. I must say I was concerned about this game. Could have been even more a a blowout. Happy!
  6. Great! Now. Keep driving. I want to see the killer instinct!!
  7. Josh has to stop locking in on his receiver.
  8. Much rather play tua versus Brisett. Go Bills!
  9. Important game. As was last week. Winning the division guarantees a playoff spot, and that starts today. Sweeping divisional foes makes winning the division easier. One concern I have is the Steelers are said to know how to defend NE’s offense, which ours is a version of. They stumped Josh at times. Miami has been a thorn in NE”s side for years and did beat them last week. I’d Miami good? Or is NE that bad this year?
  10. Got on the seltzer/sparkling water kick. Found LaCroix to be the best. Gives me the fizziness kick I got from diet soda. Since stopping diet soda, I’ve lost about 15 pounds. Have not changed much other stuff, re: diet/exercise. Is there he weight loss triggered by stopping diet soda? Have no idea, but I’ll take the lost pounds!
  11. It does stop the spread. Vaccinated people are less likely to get covid. 2 vaccinated people will have the least likely chance of spreading to one another. An unvaxed person has the most chance of contacting when in contact with a vaxed person. I believe the common thread here is…get vaccinated. It will lessen the chance of of an individual getting Covid, hence slowing the spread. More people vaccinated = less people with Covid. Yes, a vaxed person can spread. But when in contact with other vaxed people, less likely to spread. Simple. And mask. All of this isn’t brain surgery.
  12. My wife is an ICU nurse. Covid patients are on the rise in her ICU. Not the numbers we saw before, but on the rise. Interesting part? All those Covid patients were not vaccinated, but one. Could you infer that even with a low rate of vaccinated people that the vaccine has lessened the number of hospitalizations? The prevailing thoughts are yes it is lessening the surge. I have no proof, but anecdotally I’d have to say yes also. The hospital system I work for is seeing a jump in hospitalized Covid patients. Again, not previous surge numbers, but a jump in cases that have steadily risen over the last few weeks. My understanding is the vast majority are unvaxed. As far as natural immunity. How long does that last? Antibodies can disappear within 90 days. Having natural immunity doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t contract Covid again. Vaccine length of coverage is unknown. At 8 months, they want compromised people to get the booster. Will then lead to boosters for all. Evidence shows at 8 months the vaccine continues to be effective. What has been seen in vaxed people who contract Covid have seen a lessened course of Covid. Less time, less serious illness, less hospitalizations. Based on that alone, why not get vaxed??
  13. Gonna be an unpopular mandate. Like said above, probably a negative Covid test or vaccinated. In no way do they have the workforce to enforce masking in the corridors. Or outside for that matter. Thought it was supposed to masks for unvaccinated at all times. Under 10% masked. National vaccination rates at 51% currently…
  14. The 4th down play is huge on risk and reward. Not the time to call it with a struggling offense and offensive line getting out worked almost consistently. Daboll must have seen something in Steelers tendencies to put that play in the game plan. Still gotta feel the pulse of the team before you call that garbage.
  15. Just rewatched the game. I was there yesterday and didn’t notice his body language. Watching on TV you could see it, and in his face. Definitely wasn’t the Josh we had at the end of last season. Seemed out of it. Not sure what the issue is. Maybe he expects so much from himself, coupled with the new contract and he took on too much. Hopefully he can settle down for next week. Biggest issue is getting that offensive line to play better. Maybe it was the Steelers knowing we weren’t going to run the ball, but pass over 50 times and they just pinned their ears back and rushed. Need to mix it up more, take some of the load off Josh and run the ball. Singletary had a good game and should have ran the ball more to control the LOS.
  16. Was at the game, rewatched it just now. Yeah, our offensive line was manhandled. Had a couple of obvious holds that should have been called. One was a takedown on Watt early on for what ended up in a first down for us. My take is, call the penalties consistently. If it’s not holding in the first quarter, it’s not holding in the 4th. Same as PI. If you “let them play” early on, don’t be surprised if they keep playing in that manner. Don’t decide a non-call early on is suddenly a penalty, especially when it’s called on an important play. Definitely a few of the “ticky tack” holding calls seemed to come after the above mentioned takedown of Watt. Ticky tack meaning it could go either way based on how it was officiated to that point. Seemed almost as if they tried to make up for the missed call. Not entirely blaming the loss on the refs, the Bills did not have a good game. The phantom PI on Tre though should have been an INT. Could have changed the game.
  17. Then call the penalty, on both teams. Just be consistent. I get refs allow holding, hand fighting, sometimes a little PI...”let them play”. Just don’t suddenly call the penalties on plays that kill a drive, or wipe out an INT.
  18. So much went against the Bills on Sunday. Yet, they could have won this game. Not blaming the loss totally in the refs, but many bad calls against the Bills changed the flow of the game. Not just the bad PI calls, but some of the holding calls. One or two were not holds, a couple others were at bad times for the Bills. You can probably call holding on every play in the NFL. Yet, they are called at times it hurt the Bills. Not calling it a conspiracy, just hate how that happens. Overall, Steelers were the better team yesterday. You could see it in their play. Ultimately, Bills could have won the game and need to remember this loss. It should motivate them to get back to what got them to the AFC Championship game.
  19. One dimensional? After a handful of games of this, I may agree. One game, especially the season opener, doesn’t tell the tale. Today the game plan wasn’t good, that’s for sure. I’ll be honest, if a couple of those BS penalties are not called and it’s a different game.
  20. Drum line is really good. Seriously, why does I matter??
  21. The issue is other items with gluten fried in the same oil. Not necessarily the wings. Fried shrimp, fish, etc will impart gluten on non-gluten items fried in the same oil. I have a shellfish allergy and can’t eat fries, etc cooked in the same oil as shrimp.
  22. I used to get Rhett gluten free wings there because of a shellfish allergy and they don’t fry shrimp in that oil. Have not got them there for years. Maybe they make them better now. Don’t know.
  23. Didn’t see much of an issue at the preseason game getting in. Went through about 11:45. Lack of staff will be a problem. Biggest problem are people who walk up and are not prepared to hand over there phone and keys at the metal detector, and then take 3 steps and have their tix accessible. They act like it’s a major surprise doing either task. Just like the turd at the checkout who doesn’t realize she has to dig through her large purse to pull out a smaller purse to pull out her wallet to get to her debit card....until the cashier has completed scanning the order. As far as e-tix. I have Apple wallet. I just access the Ticketmaster website a few days ahead of the game, and click on “add to apple wallet”. Done. Click on Apple wallet while heading in and there they are. Not a problem.
