  1. There is a lot of FA signing to be done and I hope the Bills land the couple of guys they need to push them over the top. They need to gain ground to get past the other AFC powerhouses. I know the cap is a problem, but gotta figure it out. Me concern seeing what they have done so far is losing core locker room guys. Feliciano, “Horrible” Harry were considered locker room guys. Yeah, you may sign cheaper dudes that play at, or exceed, the level of play of whom they are replacing. But chemistry is a huge part of a team. From the top guy, to the last guy on the roster. Still have many of our own to tender or sign. The cap is a problem for them this year in having the ability to sign the big names. The cap will make a nice jump next few seasons, and either they use that money now or wait until the next few years.
  2. Speculation is he was one of the guys to reportedly reach out to the Bills. Other guy was Chandler Jones. Wonder if the delay in signing of these guys is the Bills working on clearing cap space?
  3. Players will largely take large paydays versus go with a proven winner. Ie: Fatukasi and Scherff leaving bad teams to go to Jax..a perennial loser. Would love to see a Jones or some other good player take a discount to join us. We will see.
  4. One year deal. Just got the Bills notification.
  5. The “Josh Allen Effect”. Wonder if its more acceptable to stay with Baker if not for Allen’s development.
  6. He’s not good. Had a need, not sure who else was available at the time.
  7. That’s a lot of turnover if we don’t get them back. Some can go, some need to be resigned. Either way, a lot of money we don’t have just yet.
  8. So, that frees up enough money to sign a draft class. More moves to come for sure. Need to free up big money if we have any thoughts of signing Harrison Philips, or any one of our numerous free agents. Or whoever takes their place on the roster. Let alone going after big name FA’s. Lots of big moves coming.
  9. Not expecting much. Worst part is there are a few players at need positions for us. Will see a bargain basement receiver with “potential” and a cheap vet defensive lineman. Maybe Gronk is the splash. Beane will clear cap space, but won’t mortgage the future in the process.
  10. Not for nothing, but I always looked forward to the season tickets package in the mail. Nothing special usually except a flag, but at least you felt you got something others didn’t. Now they just mailed the plastic cards.
  11. If Beane is serious about a championship, moves like this HAVE to be made. Problem is, can he clear the cap space to do it?
  12. $1.135 million put him in the middle of NFL punter salaries. I guess those guys don’t get paid much. Good thing is the cap hit to cut him won’t be much. He took about a million off his salary. His original contact was over 5 million with over 3 million guaranteed.
  13. Colts. They have the most need and cap space. May not be who why wanted in the beginning, but I believe it’s who they end up with. Not much out there at this point and he has shown he can play. A year in our system may have boosted him. Unless they figure a way to get Jimmy G. The Two thirds they got for wentz doesn’t do it.
  14. Allen made him look pretty bad in the playoff game.
  15. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s traded. Wonder who specifically they have in mind for the middle with Klein waived, not that he would have stepped into the starting roll. Probably one of those things where they have a pre-tampering deal into the works for a replacement and the trade hinges on signing another guy. Who’s available via FA? Edit: Bobby Wagner
  16. Obada has a chance to be back. Epenesa isn’t going anywhere going into his third season. Played well at times last year and I feel he will only improve. Shaq would be good at the right price. Believe he knows that he’s not breaking the bank whatever team he lands on. Wants back on the Bills because he knows they will be able to put him in a good position to hopefully get back to form.
  17. Mitch and his camp must have made it obvious they wanted nothing to do with the WFT.
  18. Bummed. Really like him. Very good backup in our defense.
  19. If brady wants out, Tampa will most likely allow a trade this year. Can’t see him out of football a year and then coming back.
  20. I’d like to see some from Sweeney this camp and preseason. Probably not a long term answer, but want to see how he responds this year after out of football a season ago.
  21. 5’ 9”, 188. Cards overspent on him, not our problem. Doesn’t mean he gets better return in a trade. 7th if you don’t want him hitting the waiver wire. I have no use for him. Fun fact. He was drafted end of round 2 in 2019, 2 slots above DJ Metcalf. Hmmmmmm.
  22. I’d like to see what Sweeney can do this season. Feel he can be a good TE. Don't want Rudolph, would rather have Engram. Would rather have Gronk over either of them. I want the Bills to put the pedal to the metal this off-season and fix our problem areas. I want a team that cruises through the regular season and gets home field. Whatever it takes.
  23. His “hate” for Buffalo is manufactured. Dude is a huge doofus, doubt he really hates on us for not drafting him the way his career has gone. As far as the Tre hit. I guess I’d leave it up to Tre whether or not we sign him. If he’s good, I’d probably be good with it. The dude can still play. Just doubt he doesn’t follow brady to his next team which I believe would be the Niners.
  24. I want the best option we can get. Love the guy, but he probably isn’t it.
  25. One would think Fox would have dealt with this already. Can’t believe they would be this deep and not have disposed of this.
