  1. Bobby Hart seems the most logical, but I'm doubtful of his athleticism. Wild Card: I bet Ed Oliver would be very tough to take down and would have made a devastating fullback.
  2. There is a much greater chance Dorsey will be a head coach than to get fired from the Bills at any point in his career, let alone this season. Y'all need to get medicated. A few points to add to this crazy thread: - McKenzie dropped two critical third down catches - Penalties wiped two other third down conversions - Allen and the RBs missed at least two very running lanes and got stopped - Other penalties killed drives (which has nothing to do with play calling) - The Jets defense is legit, and could be the best secondary in the league - Jets broke up (or interfered) on at least three big pass plays - The game was played in one of the worst weather conditions you will see in the league this year - Still scored 20 points, which is more than the Jets average Dorsey is far from perfect but the player execution had much more to do with the results than play calling.
  3. So was the weather. I’d argue wind and cold rain is the worst conditions to play in.
  4. Why I believe this is the wrong attitude: - Expectations are out of whack. The league has a great deal of parity. - The Bills have played a very competitive schedule. All three division rivals are decent teams. No Brady-level Pats but the Bills also play a first place schedule. - Even versus the “weakest” teams - Cleveland and Detroit were under trying circumstances and the Lions are now in the playoff hunt. To date, only the Steelers are a “bad” team and they aren’t really that bad. - The loss to the Jets doesn’t look too bad now (that D is no joke), the Vikings game was a series of flukes against a good team and the Miami game had the same dynamic. All lost by a combined 8 points. - In 2020, the Bills were 10-3 but a game behind KC due to match up loss. The Bills also played a weaker schedule. - After Week 13, the Bills are three games better than last year, sitting as the #1 seed and control their own destiny. Per usual, the Chiefs are also 10-3 but have a much easier path to win out. Chiefs have also been blessed with a much weaker division (who saw that coming?) - The Bills haven’t blown the doors off consistently but all the pieces are in place.
  5. I feel good. All you need to do is remember 17 years of futility. For many seasons I was irrationally searching for moral victories, now fans are uneasy at 10-3.
  6. You didn’t have to say anything and saved yourself the embarrassment. How many “very good” available DEs in the league, how many DEs are as good as Von Miller this year, and how many are as good on this current roster? How many Bills DE force opponents to change their scheme? If the Bills improve in other areas (CB, run game, WR2, etc) I do believe this team still has a very good chance to win the SB. But there is no doubt the Bills are much better with Miller on the team and he’s been worth every penny.
  7. I think it's fair to say that we have absolutely no idea what is Miller's prognosis. It's entirely possible that he's back for camp and plays all of 2023.
  8. The Bills are substantially better with Von Miller and Micah Hyde. But they are also better with Tre White back and its burgeoning run game. The Bills cannot replace Miller or Hyde, but I believe this team is still better than last year's. More experience, better at CB2, DT, OL (if only by a slim margin), at RB, and at WR. They are better everywhere but at Safety (see: Hyde). Other than staying healthy, the keys to a Super Bowl run probably depend on: - Stabilize the CB2 spot (I still think it will be Elam but fine with Rhodes if he doesn't wear down) - Hamilin improving - Consistent production out of DE. It think this will be difficult as we cannot expect Epenesa and Basham to significantly improve. That's why I think Lawson may need to be the X Factor. - Get a productive Crowder back for the playoffs - Get "average" consistent play out of Spencer Brown - Bonus: Dare I say it - sign Odell and get 15 good reps for each playoff game. If not, Davis needs to get to full health and take a substantial step. Personally, I think all of the above is possible.
  9. Agree. The Amazon games need more airtime for Fitz and Sherman (and no more Al Michaels - Gus Johnson, please).
  10. Fine, I thought Milano was at $12-13M. I think Edmunds is worth about $15M/6yrs.
  11. We don't know the reason Elam didn't play. The Bills CANNOT say it's due to injury because they never gave him a designation. Let's see what happens next week before declaring Elam a bust. My guess is he get 20-25% of the snaps.
  12. BS. Who is advocating "overpaying" Edmunds or any other player? Explain to us what Edmunds is worth. I think it's Matt Milano money if not 10% more.
  13. I think the Dolphins are a pretty good team and I have not interest in discounting their schedule. Every remaining game will be a slog.
  14. I like these posts, it helps identify the bad fans.
  15. Yes. And Wilson made quite a few key plays to win the game. You might want to check it out.
  16. Good thing the Bills only play in Detroit only once every four years.
  17. Unfortunately, Wilson had a decent game against the Bills.
  18. I’ve reached an age where I make an effort to enjoy every moment of a team’s success. Good teams can turn sour overnight and then it’s gone. Of course expectations change, but unlike many “important” things in our lives, we have no control over the outcome of our teams. May as well sit back and enjoy what we have in the moment. I can’t get caught up in the Bills “window” because it’s unknowable. But I do take a great comfort in the belief that if Pegula, Beane, McDermott and Allen are around, the Bills will have a good shot every season.
  19. Rushmore is probably in my Top 10. Every scene is a delight. It hits every time. Likewise, Royal Tennenbaum's and for the most part, Bottle Rocket. For some reason I never got into The Life Aquatic, although it has much of what I like about the first three. I know I'm in the minority but his last few films have left me cold. Yes, they are technically proficient, but I find the stories and characters are blah.
  20. The longer Wilson holds the ball, the worse his completion percentage and QB rating. He has a problem moving off his first read and working through progressions. Therefore, it may be more productive to rush four, blanket the field and force Wilson into poor decisions as the pocket collapses.
  21. May he never see the field, or the active roster.
