  1. You will have zero problems if you plan. There are many very nice, safe neighborhoods (there are dozens). Below are those closest to downtown. - Fells Point (The Pendry Hotel area - for fans of Homocide TV show, the hotel's facade was once used as the police HQ). Bars and restaurants in the area. Nice walk along the water. - Harbor East. Several major hotels anchor the water, many mid to high end restaurants. The James Joyce pub reopened if you like Irish pubs. - Next door is Little Italy for restaurants. - Federal Hill is more 20 and 30 somethings. Good bar atmosphere. Closer to the stadium and should be hopping. Use the Cross Street Market as a reference point. - If you want activities: History: Fort McHenry is cool. If in Federal Hill, go to the Park and catch the view of the city. Other: The National Aquarium is top notch, the Horseshoe Casino is always open. Breweries: If you like breweries, there are are more than enough to visit. Checkerspot is no-frills but near the stadium and fun. Personal favorite: Union Craft, but it's uptown and you might need a car. If you have a car, also try Guinness Brewery and Heavy Seas.
  2. Thanks, I thought I missed something. It hasn't happened to me, but it must be very painful to have a partner cheat on them. Everyone handles it in different ways, but "calling him out" should not be condemned. If you've cheated once or a hundreds of times, you should be prepared for the consequences.
  3. If by "next to nothing" you mean Bo Jackson was practically unstoppable when carrying the ball.
  4. This year I got into home brewing beer, which I find very relaxing. The first few beers have been (at best) average, but I find the learning process very satisfying and my appreciation for skilled brewmasters has grown exponentially. It's not a cheap hobby and its very tempting to try techniques beyond my ability but the endless available information provides confidence that you could unlock the secrets. I just wish I didn't take so long to take the plunge.
  5. Conversely, how many domer fanatics will change their tune if the coverage is excellent?
  6. Agree. Very difficult show to pull off but it's excellent.
  7. Personally, I think the expectation and hype is getting out of hand. However, I also believe fans should be enjoying this era as much as possible.
  8. The easiest gambit in sports entertainment is to say something unflattering about a Buffalo Bill. You fell for it - again. All you’ve done is bought another ticket to their circus and made them richer. As Barnum supposedly said, “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
  9. Some of you are unrelenting sadists.
  10. Interesting topic. Players drafted from other teams: It's almost cliche, but I'll guess the Panthers, but second guess would be Minnesota (Diggs along could eat up snaps). I've had a hard time remembering Bills draftees who likely played a lot of snaps for other teams. Zay Jones, Robert Woods, Wyatt Teller, Dareus(?) . . . I'll go with the Browns only because I can't think of any other player who would have more snaps than Teller.
  11. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this moment in Bills Fandom. You will regret wallowing in all this bullsh!t. It's possible I speak for many "older" fans who've been around since before the Super Bowl years: soak in every glorious minute because we don't know if it will happen again in our lifetime.
  12. Hardly. If anything they are even, or Keenum is a bit better suited for backup than MT.
  13. He's one of my all-time favorite NFL players and I want to say yes, but I don't think he was a Bill long enough. Perhaps needed two or three more years. I'm all-in on Canton though. 😁
  14. Gettysburg is also a frequent “what if” for me (coincidentally, reading “Cain at Gettysburg” right now). Other than the Little Round Top scene, the movie has pre-90s TV movie production values. A missed opportunity. The book (Killer Angles) would make a great six-seven hour limited series like Band of Brothers. The problem of using civil war reenactors is too many are old and clearly not in “civil war” shape. They also don’t want to harm their equipment so they die gently.
  15. Severance is by far my favorite show of the year. I'm partial to limited series, as I believe most shows go on far too long. However, I don't think I'd mind if Severance was 40 episodes long; there is a lot to explore.
  16. Section 516. Got them upon schedule release. They weren't cheap but not as insane as they could have been. Flying in for the game and spending the week in San Diego/LA. Awaiting a possible schedule of Bills Backer events.
  17. Tyreek wants us to believe that Tua throws as well, if not better, than Mahomes.
  18. You'll be fine and should have no issues. It may not be downtown Hamburg, NY but even for a night game there'll be thousands of fans, tailgaters and police in the area.
  19. You may want to doublecheck the address. I don't think Pigtown area has a Hamilton Street but there's one in Mount Vernon. If it's Pigtown, you should be fine. It's mostly nice-ish residential and short walk to the stadium complex. Having said that, if it's a night game, walk with the crowds once you cross over Russel Street.
  20. There's a lot to like but I wonder if we should temper our expectations. I'd be more comfortable if Elam and Jackson fought it out for CB2, but Elam is likely to start the first month regardless of how ready he'll be. Araiza should easily take the starting job, but it will take time to adjust to the WNY weather. No need to rush all the others.
  21. Overall, I think the Defense will be Top 5 in scoring and other metrics, but it might take a few games to gel. Tre White might not play for the first month, Dan Jackson might play against WR1, Elam is a rookie and the DLine might need a few weeks to figure out the right combinations.
