Might have been a spellcheck random apostrophe, not sure, fixed it. -
Tremaine Edmunds: what’s his nickname?
Shamrock replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Platypus. Well, he’s unique. He can rush, play the run and cover. Like they took traits from linebackers, mixed ‘em up and created him ? -
Didn’t Brad Culpepper, Buccaneer DT from years ago, drop a tonne and compete in survivor. I think he had a column on weight loss being necessary, as it’s not normal to be comparatively, THAT big On a a side note, same as the Super Heavy Weight lifters, Taranenko looks way different then his world record days. Not that he was a ‘fat’ Super, but I met Pisarenko at the 2000 Olympics and he still looked sharp. Dean Lukin ways maybe 200lbs. And the training type. Noticed how different an Olympic Weightlifter v Powerlifter v Bodybuilders physique look... (not including aftermarket upgrades ? ...how different the quads of a bike- sprinter look to the road guys. I’m thinking it’s the Barre type for GBS And not GroupB strep type, I take it?

EXACTLY why I think Beane blew the '18 draft. -Rd. 1
Shamrock replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On a different note, I’m not a fan of including the trade down in the cost; Allen moved #12 to #7 at a cost of pick #53 & #56, Edmunds, was a swop or #22 to #16 for pick #65. But that’s not your issue... The swop down is a not an insubstantial increase in player value/ worth, only 6 teams have picked whomever they want prior, leaving the talent pool, less 6. Pick #12 is 1500points, #7 is 1200points. How much do you value what 300 points may get you, time will tell. (So doing the draft calculator the move #12 to #7 cost us about #49 in the 2nd Rd- if we had that pick. So a gamble cost us a 2nd Rd player on the ‘perceived’ player draft position and rankings worth. Again with Edmunds, the swop of #22 to #16, cost us overall a gain of an additional 6th Rd, pick #190... Soooooo, all up Edmunds and Allen, a potential starting QB and 3down backer cost the worth of about #52 in the 2nd Rd of the draft rankings... assuming we know that a 6th Rd not named Tom exists and that #1 overall isn’t a Couch or Russell- but this is just math from the ‘draft value board’.) -

We could have not taken shot putter Larsen and gotten Brady in the 6th... -
We normally have our ANZAC Memorial Day during the week, this year it’s a Wednesday and I usually take the days after as Annual Leave for a bit of a break: It’s often the few nice days before Winter arrives and the work slog starts after Spring, Summer good weather.

Josh Allen visiting the Bills today

On a less serious note, my son’s kinder friends are Josh, Mason, Jackson and Luke. Wonder if he’ll choose a QB for the Bills from his mates names? ? -
Will we see a Gronk / Tre' White Rule?
Shamrock replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
White weighs like 80kg and Gronk 120kg. That’s 150% bigger, a huge differential when hitting... (defenceless...) if Ted Washington got up some momentum and dove onto a prone Gronk, all whilst wearing a solid forearm guard... it’s a Merry Melodies cartoon right there. -

I think an Australian Rules Football player was charged with assault for ‘king’ hitting another player. As punching is against the rules and unsportsmanlike, the guy coping the whack from behind had had enough and pressed charges. AFL is rife with these acts. -

The Bills Top 5 Most Successful Low-Round Draft Picks
Shamrock replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mark Pike- he and Steve Tasker made me interested in Special Teams, year after year. Darrick Holmes had a good Rookie year. Ran hard. I think he had a big game v Cleveland on a Monday Nite- in the rain, against a familiar defensive co-ord. Browns has a complement of former Giant Lbers. Justin Armour had a big game. Didn’t he get a SB with Denver too. Did Bryce Fisher get a SB with Seattle? -
Bills 1st round picks currently sit at #21 and #25
Shamrock replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got a Ricky Williams draft shirt that year from a mate OS, we’d made all these jokes about Ditka’s drafting and it’s hung around. Trading up for John McCargo we’d call Ditka’ing it. And Marcel’s 6th Rd pick just became a 5th with Dareus on roster and Jags making Playoffs. -
Ross Lyon did this in the Australian Football League. Had his team, St. Kilda in finals, top 4 finishes, a Grand Final (= Superbow). Went to the Board during his final year for contract extension talks & was told they’d review it at years end, when at years end his contract expired he signed with another club, took that club to a Grand Final as well. He’s still viewed as having walked out on his club, he viewed it as job security, family security in knowing what they would be up to.

Pool’s a little small, can only fit 1 helicopter, nothing bigger than Bell 429 type as well, only 1 Car, what happens if I need to drive twice in a day somewhere, use the same car...

City you've never lived in, but felt at home there

Newcastle, Australia. If you ever get a chance it’s an amazing place. It also has one of the more attractive folk to nonatttactive folk ratios I’ve ever seen in a place. It was literally jaw dropping. Everyone is super fit, so it seemed. -

Ringed parrots much the same, squawkers too. There’s a definite pecking order and often they can be seen pairing up. Have 2 feeders, try to minimise the fighting! Come on, it’s free bird food, ease up. Pigeons sit back, wait ‘til they fight each other off. We back onto a park with a creek. I’ve got a chair out on the lawn and to down time sit out there, watch the birds, the old dogs will come and sit and the kids come and play around. My daughter calls it ‘day watching’, I’m sure at my most relaxed there. We took over a house that the ol’ folk couldn’t keep up the garden, including a pond. It was filthy. My son and I drained it and found 13 fish. All light bronze gold fish. And a sad Lilly. The water was mud soup. Cleaned it. Added clean water from rain water tank, set up an overflow so that the pond water watered the ferns. Well the fish got their colour back, the Lilly flowers and the ferns are going crazy.
