The NBA went to pot when they put in the "restricted area" underneath the basket. It took the physicality that everyone LOVED out of the game and really restricted defense, making the offensive game too easy and therefore, boring. Side note: The NFL is well on its way to doing the same thing, but thats a thread for another day. So, lose that stupid semi-circle under the hoop and let the forwards and centers go back to defending the basket, itself properly. EVERYONE loved this aspect of the game and its just GONE now. A "20 minute drive for toilet paper" or to a grocery store or bar is an aspect of RURAL living, not typical suburban living in townships that outline and circle most city centers. And while not all suburbs are walkable, a large percentage of them are. For example, I live in the biggest "suburb" in America (Nassau County/Town of Hempstead) and a few miles from the original suburb...Levittown, NY. While driving to where I need to go is certainly more convenient, a major grocery store, a lot of general retail, three schools and about five bars/restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk.

What those dopes will NEVER understand is that people like me and you aint pushing back on that sort of thing or those who choose freely to live like that. Its THEIR desire to have the rest of US..by force...live like that is what we push back on. If you notice, roundy isnt just touting "urban living"...hes looking to also cast disdain on suburban living and those who choose to live in a suburban setting and stating by implication that it must be done away with. Notice how he prattles about the "negative exernalities" of suburban living yet mentions none of the negative aspects of urban living. That right there is how you know youre not dealing with an honest broker.

Heres the "rich and lively" and "environmentally friendly" living arrangement that progressive YIMBY's dream of. They would legislate all of us into the favelas if they had the chance to do so. Looks awesome.

My friend works the control tower at LaGuardia, where some of these "drones" were sighted. His response to my inquiry was that he's been staring out his work window at lines of these things in formation for the last 20 years. It is pretty amazing how all these "drones" have a red light on one side, a green on the other, three white lights (two on the sides and one on the back) and a red blinky. I wonder why that is.....

I heard/read somewhere that this pardon was so broad and, the weird way the timing in it stated was laid out, there was a window of a few hours on the day it was issued where Hunter Biden literally could have commited any crime up to murder and the pardon would apply. Norms.

I cant argue too much becuase all this is doing is seeing Goodell fulfill his edict from the owners he works for, which is to make more money for them. However, between this, and the international games and the lousy officiating, and the overproduction of everything the league does, and all these different streaming services fans need to chase to watch the games....the league is really becoming watered down and the overall product is starting to suffer.
