Thought about this a bit more. Look...Im NOT going to judge anyone who is still salty and doesnt want to watch these two immently hateble teams and in the case of Philly, the fanbase. But that said....this is the NFL Championship...how does one claim to be a "rabid football fan" and have the NFL take such a central part in their lives like we all claim to be and do, and then skip out watching this game?

If you want proper information on this incident...or ANY incident involving aviation, Juan Brown is your man. -
Opinion: Bills SHOULD hire Doug Pederson as assistant HC

They already have this. Wade Phillips is considered one of the best, most innovative DC's. Not sure thats a great example. And Davis Webb? For a fanbase that is so concerend about "wasting" Josh Allen, they sure do love giving him coordinators that are more green than Allyn Hayne's lawn. -

Its enraging me, all the conspiracy theories floating around and many being floated from "smart" people, who should know better. "It looks like the helicopter aimed for the RJ!" Yeah, no kidding. Things that collide with one another tend to look like that. -

Wing was sheared off and the RJ hit the water in less than 2 seconds. The bright side is that the victims probably died before they even realized what was happening to them. I have one friend a pilot and one who works ATC in NYC and both are very shaken by this crash. -

I know its not going to happen but Id like Pederson...for OC. Brady did a good job of course but lets face it, its a matter of time before hes gone. Enough of these young "wonderboy" OCs. They come in...it takes time for them to learn on the job, then when they get their feet under them...poof they are gone. And now Joe Webb from UB's name was floated if Brady left. Oh good, a young guy with even LESS experience than Brady and Dorsey had. This team is right in the middle of a super bowl contention window. Enough with the "Western NY Offensive Coordinator Junior Jobs Program." Id love to have our "offensive version of Spagnuolo." An older (but not too old) coach who has a lot of experience and past success in the league, maybe had a run at HC but it didnt work out or it did and now he wants to settle in, and work on this talented team to offer knowledge and most important, continuity. Of course people will laugh becuase of Pederson's record last year in JAX, but look at the resume. The guy has a ton of experience and success as an offensive coach in the NFL. https://pro-football-history.com/coach/963/doug-pederson-bio -
McDermott: "Nobody in this building is content with where we are at" "I dont think there is any consolation in that [being down 3 with 3 minutes to go]." "Our goal is to win a world championship and we will pursue that goal relentlessly." "I dont deal well with sitting on the edge and saying 'We will get them next year'." SEE??? WAS THAT SO HARD???????? Contrast these statements to what Beane said this AM. Night and day, IMHO.

MY POST from Jan 25 of last year..... The TRUTH is that it is widely accepted around the entire NFL world that the Buffalo Bills organization and its culture is one of the best ones in the NFL, if not in ALL of pro sports in the US. Does that necessariliy translate to winning a championship? No. But the org is not some shoddy fly by night deal like you imply above. What McD and Beane have built is consdiered top tier around the league. And the idea that the Pegulas are "not in it for winning" doesnt wash, either. They invested a ton of money building what is consdered one of the best fitness centers in the NFL (https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-expect-world-class-sports-performance-center-to-enhance-their-game). They have laid out BIG contracts to free agents and to retain their own talent. Again...does that translate into winning? No. The Von contract is bad right now due ot his injuries. But its sure damn NOT for lack of trying. The effort to win is there. The MONEY is there.

Beane (paraphrashing): "Id sign up to be in the same postion, down 3 with 3 mins to go next year." THAT DIDNT WORK THREE TIMES. How about being UP TEN with three minutes to go? Christ. [/rant] Seriously though...I get the sentiment but thats such a passive, defensive postion. Work to NOT be "down 3 with 3 to go" on the road in the loudest stadium in the NFL, facing a "GOAT" candidate with the best coaching staff in the NFL with one of the best HCs EVER.

You and I know of another fanbase thats having a VERY similar conversation right now, dont we? NOBODY is saying that Allen bears the brunt of responsibility and EVERYONE is saying that the defense is the primary culprit. All people like me are doing is pushing back on the idea that Josh bears ZERO responsiblity for the losses. The Bills are ONE game over .500 in the playoffs with Josh Allen under center. One. He is the QB of this team and BY DEFINITION bears some of the responsibilty for that.
