  1. Boy, you sure are good at talking the talk. (Blowing a lot of hot air.) I can only imagine how great your love-life is if you feel this highly of yourself. I have a feeling that you'd probably crap your pants, if a lady like Hailee would walk up to you. But keep on talkin' if that makes you feel better!
  2. All the very best on your retirement, Chuck. I've enjoyed reading your articles for many years now. As others have mentioned, Chuck had an "old school" style of writing that you don't see often anymore.
  3. FFS, now you guys are critiquing what he's wearing??
  4. WTF? Are idiots now All-Star Wrestling in the parking lot?
  5. My wife and I picked up a 2016 MX-5 a couple weeks ago, and I can't stress enough how much we love it. It's the perfect car for the twisty roads of the South Island. I've never had a car that was so much fun!
  6. Ross Tucker can take his "hot take" and shove it where the sun don't shine. Click-bait BS is all it is.
  7. Mate, you're wasting your time with this guy. Just sayin'
  8. I know that it's been decades since I moved away, but back then Rochester was simply referred to as Upstate NY. Heck, I thought everything above Long Island was "Upstate". When did all this change?
  9. Rest in Peace to one of the all-time greats.
  10. Sorry to hear about your loss, mate. Kia Kaha.
  11. Cringeworthy is what it is.
  12. I love you, Josh Allen!
  13. Welcome back Jimmy Spags... ya dirty bum!
  14. What a great idea for a thread, Boyst. I'm looking forward to reading what people have to say. For me, I've been a coming here since day one, and was a member of whatever website preceded TBD. Can someone remind me about the the message board before this one? Was it on a local newspaper site? I only remember that it was early internet days, and I was psyched to be able to get up to date info and talk to fellow Bills fans, while living in Broncos territory. Before that, I had to rely on the SHOUT! newspaper to arrive each week.) Anyway, I signed up in the late 90's. Back then, I was newly married and living in Colorado. (Born and raised in Rochester and moved to CO in 1990) Since then... Son born Moved family to Washington State Daughter born Moved family to New Zealand. It's been over 17 years since we moved to NZ and both of the kids have now grown and moved out. (Daughter in Uni.) The wife and I are loving this latest stage of our lives, which we refer to as "Empty Nestin' ". When I think back to my Colorado days, it feels like it was another life ago. So much has happened since then... births, deaths and other major life events, including the challenges of being an immigrant to a new land. Throughout all of the years and all of the events, there have been only a couple constants. One, thankfully being Mrs Bad Things... another being TBD. I honestly have no idea why/how this place can hold such a sway over me. (Especially during some of the really bad drought years.) Just about every damn day, I have to at least log in to see what's going on over here. That said, thank you SDS and all of the moderators for everything you've done through the decades. You've help me waste countless "productive" hours of my life. (Oh, to think of what I could've become, if TBD never came into my life...) Let's go Buffalo!!!
  15. These sort of opinions aren't allowed here? Courage?? Good grief.
  16. FFS, there are some miserable people on this board.
  17. Um... what is that supposed to be?
  18. Just the other night, my wife and I had this same chat. That said, Mrs Bad Things and I both see Seinfeld as timeless. I've watched it so many times, and it still makes me laugh out loud. None of the other "classic" sitcoms can do that for me.
  19. I'd much rather have the attitude that we're the underdogs and not the chosen ones.
  20. I agree 100%. His show was trash.
  21. That is really sad to hear. I've enjoyed his music since I was a little kid. Rest in Peace.
